You can imagine that the so called saint LP have quietly collected theirs without noise and you will think APC/PDP is the problem

They should reject them. They should reject their allowances & then use your family savings to empower their constituents since the car and allowances are only for PDP & APC.

What do you expect them to do? Reject it and drive their own cars to their constituency? If your brother or father is the LP member and by law they have awarded them jumbo salaries....Are they supposed to reject the salaries? Who voted the other APC members and PDD members in the senate that have majority of the numbers? If Nigerians voted more APC members and PDP members in the senate and they are taking the cars and salaries? Why are you attacking the few labour's parry members that cannot change the laws ? Please oga go sleep because if your parents are the ones that won you will advice them not to be corrupt but rejecting what is official and not a corrupt proceeds doesn't make sense.

Sorry o, did they inflate the cost of the SUV from N160 million to N160 billion? I thought the total cost for the law makers' SUVs amounted to N58 billion. Have I missed something?

This is enough to plunge a country with more sane people into chaos, but guess what? In contrast to my country, where only a few individuals are in the right mindset. They will 'jejely' swallow all the cum from their slave masters without asking them to stop.

They are collecting SUV to cruise to their constituency, why will they be concerned about all the bad roads all over the country. As long as they are comfortable, to hell with common Nigerian's.

The greed of the average Nigerian poliitican continues to shine through, even more surprisingly those of LP lawmakers that were supposed to be the defining example for a new democracy. I have no hesitation in saying that, had the outcome of the presidential elections swung Obi's way, we will not have seen a difference. Lawmakers will still award fat salaries and luxurious gifts to themselves, while the sitting president, Obi, watches in compliance. What can he do? Absolutely nothing. The rot is so deep it will take years and years to clean. That's certain, and even an Obi can barely show any determination to clean it.

Nigerian is on an irreparable course to self-destruct based on the current actions of its political class. Evidence of that has already started showing in the short term. In the long term, the result is eventual economic and political tsunamis with no parallel.

One thing can save this country. That's a revolution

"Use Nigerian product to improve the naira. It is because we are buying imported products that is why our naira is losing value."

These are the words of the same people that have gone out to buy Toyota products, and left Innoson and Nord.

Innoson and Nord are Nigerian Products, but our so called leaders are going to spend 160 billion naira for a foreign product..

People are suffering to eat and live and these people are spending 160 billion naira on cars as if they didn't have cars before they got to power.

These people are heartless. Very very heartless.

The 160 billion naira can go into a specific project for people to have quality lives. They don't need to send the money to anyone. Build a refinery, construct things.

Open a market/industry to provide jobs for the Youths.

And you know the funniest thing? The new set of senators and Reps from the party of the youth (LP) will collect the car too. They have not come out to talk. They have not come out to give press conference. They have not done anything to castigate this act.

They have let it slide. But trust me. They will suffer from the works of their hands.

on point

You are very correct, Obi LP are supposed to be oppositions, they should have opposed the decision to purchase these vehicles. But rather they collected their own shares. This indicates that LP, APC and PDP are all thieves.

Yes, they should not have accepted the vehicles to show us that they are not like PDP or APC. Clearly they are not practising what they preach. It is business as ussual sharing money and cars. This also indicates that LP are no different from APC and PDP as they keep telling us. If they agree with APC's policies of purchasing these cars then what would they be opposing? They are all corrupt thieves.

They are just ignorant. LP are supposed to lead by example, by receiving these cars it means they are no difference from APC or PDP, LP have being trying to make the masses believe that it would not be business as ussual if People vote them in.. Sharing money and cars, but clearly they are agreeing with APC's policies of purchasing these cars. So what would they be opposing? If they are agreeing with APC sharing money and cars.. grin grin grin

They should have refused to accept those cars to show us that they are not a party of corruptions and money sharing. And that they mean business.

LP, ApC and PDP are all the same.

Now that they have collected their own shares of cars and money.. they will not complain anymore that APC are corrupt party or that Tifnubu didn't win elections. grin they have accepted that Tifnubu is the president and not OBi. They will also not complain about how APC run the country by making life hard for poor Naigerians.. it is ironic isn't it?

Instead of focusing on the issue, you tactically dragged in Peter Obi, a nightmare to all of your kind!!! Coward! Call Tinubu out, he and Buhari have made our Naira a tissue paper. Naira is heading to 2000 for a dollar, yet they are spending on frivolous things. This is what happens when hate for Igbos and Christians prevail over common sense. Enjoy your shege promax!!!! Tinubu did not show good example, the corrupt judges at the tribunal and supreme Court did not show good example, and u want labour party sentors to show good examples...

Whether you accept it or not, it is the truth. Anybody that thinks a mere president can fix Nigeria's issue is deceiving himself. If you like, bring Prophet Muhammad or Jesus to lead Nigeria. Nothing other than total systemic change via revolution and restructuring can fix this totally broken and hopeless country.

This is what APC are doing using money for Subsidy to buy new cars worth billions in this dying economy. Removing subsidy but can't cutdown on government frivolous spending. While poor citizens suffer inflation.

The worst part is that you will still pay for the maintenance of this expensive cars through taxes.

Just imagine FG giving Inoson and Nord this 160billion for car production for 4years, I’m sure innoson with that same money can be replacing the car for the annually. Imagine how their production will increase, imagine the number of people that will get jobs….. Nigeria is cursed

True, Nord and Innoson can make a significant difference if encouraged. The ability to produce steel and batteries here will significantly reduce the need for forex.

They don't care about growing the people and the economy. It's so heartbreaking.

lawmakers will decide it, but the president will approve or consent. The Obi we know will not approve such rubbish. In as much Nigerians don't want good leadership, we will continue to suffer.

You can only genuinely fight corruption when you are free from corruption. Obi we know will reduce to the barest minimum the cost of governance from his own side. The national assembly will align.

Define looting? If you work in a company amd your official pay is 20 million naira, can you call that looting? Did you make the law for the company to pay you 20 million? It is your official pay. Definition of morals is subjective as stated by John f Kennedy. What you see as morals to you may not be morals to another person. The pay of senator is not determined by LP house of rep members and rejecting the pay will not impact or change anything . If you want change then you must call out all senators after all they are representing humans like you. I am sure the senator representing you is not from LP party....lol. You never attacked the senator representing your constituency but you are attacking LP. Charity begins at home.
