From the video you can see he was walking away to go back to his apartment before the husband with big chest came with scissors to intimidate him (Bad Idea). The husband who is an immigrant from Haiti does not know in the US big chest is nothing.

Even my students will tell you they won't allow disrespect...we suspend hundreds every year due to fights ...thank God we have a metal detector. Every week we have fights inside the school. The victim made a big mistake, why will u back a man holding a gun? Immediately he saw the man pulling up his shirt, even if he wasn't going to bring out a gun, he should have closed him up immediately and grabbed him until he was sure it wasn't a gun the man was pulling up. . It once happened to me, I was walking on the way not knowing that armed robbers in a car were stalking me in broad daylight on a busy road with lots of people around , somebody immediately came to my side and shouted if you move.... and was in the process of pulling up his gun under his shirt when I flung my hand and the pistol fell off his hand . That gave me the opportunity to run away because I didn't know if the others in the car would come out with guns to assist him. That particular robber would have been caught that day in Benin city if the people standing and watching us had balls to come and assist me. . Like I said before, the victim should have closed him up immediately he saw him about pulling up his shirt.

He did not see him pulling up his shirt or when he brought the gun out. The woman distracted him at that moment.
But he did see him point the gun at him, then turn his back heading back to his apartment. He probably underestimated the man thinking he wouldn't shoot or he wanted to go bring his own gun.
He should have stood tall at him the moment he saw him with the gun or better still go on his knees and beg like he's dead already.

You see death staring at you but your arrogant self ignored death.

It's not even cowardice to stay away from someone who is armed. It's wisdom. Unless you're armed and you're ready to use your weapon. You and the armed individual are unmatched and there can only be one likely outcome... You getting shot. One can only approach an armed individual if he himself is armed, gun out,loaded and aimed to shoot or if you have John Wick's suit on or you're the flash or superman.
