Before 2020, there were big and nice hotels in Okigwe and Orlu but Uzodinma grudge against his perceived enemies in Orlu led him to use ebubeagu unknown gunmen to make Orlu a non livable place, and by extension, Okigwe.
Imo state is now in Owerri because of Uzodinma's incurable heart of grudge.
In 4 years, the only development of Uzodinma's govt in Orlu is one street rebuilt. He closed nearly all government establishments in Orlu and transferred some to his Orueast Local government area or to the state capital.

I don't know why some fools are making fuss over the incident. These are educated and enlightened people they should know what to do. If their contract with the hotel have been breached they know what to do, everything is not about playing the victim cards and unnecessary drama.

Owerri is a fun city...

Forget the present political situation, my friend told me normally you don't get hotel rooms on weekends of you don't book earlier. This is because many living outside the town come over during the weekend plus other celebrations (weddings, anniversaries etc.) that happen in the town during weekends.

This particular hotel is a hot cake... people rush to lodge there. Let those girls try other hotels. Owerri is full of hotels as they say
