WAEC did not disclaim the 1981and 83 result presented by the governor and the 1998 WAEC was brought in at the late hour and it was brought in by the petitioners. Umo Eno will get away with this issu. Read the judgement here:

https://www.google.com.ng/amp/s/www.channelstv.com/2023/09/29/tribunal-dismisses-ypps-petition-upholds-umo-enos-victory/amp/

Forget this judgement, it was allegedly authoured by the lead counsel to Governor Eno, after the the Panel of Tribunal Judges were highly compromised, we already know the outcome of the Tribunal final Judgement won't go in Senator OBA's favour.
Senator OBA submitted the '98 WAEC cert alongside Gov. Eno academic CTC from Uniuyo @The Tribunal from day one, Gov Eno used the '98 forged WAEC cert to gained admission &he was expelled as a result of that, all contained in the CTC documents.

There was nothing like late hour submission.
The upper Courts will do the needful when it's time.

Did Eno submitted the certificate to Inec? NO

The judgement will remain the same even till the supreme court.

But he submitted his BSc &MSc to INEC, how did he got the two certificates(BSc&MSC)when he was actually expelled from the University by then VC, Prof Akpan Hogan Ekpo, reasons a University Staff, Mr. Daniel Akpan with a verified IPPIS Staff Number, who worked prevoiusly in the Registrar's Office as at the time those documents was requested & paid for officially &was authourized to sign the CTC was subpoenaed by the Tribunal.
Gov. Eno submitted his BSc&MSc gotten from a faulty '98 WAEC certificate which has the same Examination & Certificate Numbers as his 1983 WAEC, all these are there in the CTC which are clear evidences to backup Senator OBA's claims at the ongoing Legal battle.

Again if you want to look at the 1981 WAEC certificate, starting from the Surname, bears Bassey, Umo Eno whereas his 1983 WAEC certificate starting from the Surname bears Eno, Umo Bassey, in the eyes of the Law theses certificates belongs to two persons, except where there's proof from avidavit or deed of pool from a higher court stating that the two certs belongs to same person.

Now the question: did Gov. Umo Eno submit any documents, deed of pool from SC or avidavit to INEC that the two certificates belongs to him? The answer is simply No!

Another question: How possible the 1981&1983 WAEC certificates could secure his University admission in 1998, when you combine both still not up to the minimum entry requirements of 5credits to study Political Science and Administration @Uniuyo, No Credit on English & Mathematics, etc?
These are the salient questions the court will ask, then make reference to previous similar case to give appropriate Judgement, except the Judges wants to deploy Technicalities &in Nigeria, most times high profile cases like this becomes Political when it gets to higher Courts, it will boil down to Money & Connections @the Centre.

Supreme Court sacked David Lyon of APC, Governor-Elect of Bayelsa State just because his Deputy had inconsistency issues with names on his Certs he submitted to INEC without Legal documents to back it up, subsequently the incumbent Governor Diri of PDP was Sworn-In. People describe Gov. Diri as "Miracle Governor" :DD

According to Constitution, to contest as Governor in Nigeria, the minimum educational qualification is SSCE O'Level &this must be genuinely owned.

This is a dead case to me sir because he has won this WAEC case in the court before. Osun state's governor Adeleke is a fresh reference. The forgery case here is difficult to proof because the certificate in question is carrying the same number with that of 1983 and WAEC has not said he didn't write the 1983 exam. Therefore, he has WAEC certificate which is the minimum requirement.

Again, the arrangement of names on the certificate is not a big issue here since the labour party candidate also having a certificate with the same arrangement.

The case of Bayelsa state which involved David L. Running mate is different because he has different names in his certificates.

The case of not having 5 credits can't stand here because the university hasn't said anything against it in this case. I have said it severally here before now that tertiary institutions in those days admits students without English or mathematics through a system called pre-lim. One of my sister is a beneficiary. She later passed her English after she graduated from the tertiary institution after several attempts.

You getting the whole thing complicated, again his '83&'98 had the same Examination & Certificate Numbers, as contained in the CTC documents, he knew his '81&83 certs won't guarantee his admission as at '98 academic year, reasons he used the '98 WAEC cert which the issuing body had said does not exist in their records, Uniuyo expelled him as a result of that, the list of expelled students still exist till today, &he had already submitted his BSc to INEC. If he had submitted only 1983 WAEC certificate, bearing Eno, Umo Bassey, there would have been no case! I mean no case at all.

In the case of Tertiary Institutions admitting students without English or Mathematics is different across Institutions, Uniuyo is one University that has 5credit benchmark, Gov Eno did not pass through prelim to start with, no records has shown he did a predegree to remedy his deficiency concerning his O'Level certificates.

For you to say the Supreme Court had ruled on that certificate. The case is challengeable if a another person that wasnt a party to the suit can come up with evidences, cos The Supreme Court did not also claim that his certificates are genuine, the case was ruled in that Mr. Akan Okon could not prove! I hope you're aware SC called for a review of that Mr. Akan Okon vs Umo Eno case.
