Jerusalem, Judea, Samaria, Bethlehem, Galilee, and other present day Israeli cities have always been Jewish cities far before the 7th century when Islam started.

Go and read history, and learn how they were displaced and replaced by the successive empires that started with the Babylonian and Roman empires and ended with the Ottoman Empire in the 20th century.

As a matter of fact, the jews were the major land owners and influential people at the time he formed Islam in the 7th century, and he received the greatest opposition to his religion from them.

He used to describe them as "Banu Israil"(people of Israel) and the Jews as "Yahud".

And "Banu israil" was mentioned 44 times in the Quran that was written in the 7th century.

If there were no Jews in the middle east then, why would the Quran talk about them?

Why would the hadiths say "The day of Judgement will never come until the muslims fight with the jews...."??
