You continue to sound like and idiot. You don't know what urban metropolitan area is all about. For your mind it's Ok for Ikorodu to be Lagos but you don't know that same way Nnewi is Onitsha in this context? If Ikeja is Lagos urban metro don't you know that Awka is also part of Onitsha urban metro? If parts of Ogun is counted for Lagos metro don't you know that parts of Delta and Imo also counts for Onitsha?
They ranked urban areas you are talking about cities, Don't you know the difference?
Do you think Lagos is one city? Onitsha city can be compared to Ikoyi not Lagos as a whole which is a combination of many cities
See Google maps for the two metropolitan areas

You are struggling to appear intelligent but only end up as an empty loaf.

The context of the argument is about the city and the OP placed Lagos City alongside Onitsha but here is Mr. Chestbeater turning the whole discussion into another thing.

Where did metropolitan come up i the discussion?

Lagos city has amenities apart from its density to be classified as a city whereas your Onitsha doesn't have.

You can cry and roll on the ground it won't change nada. Just as your insult and abuse won't change your dead cell brain.

Onitsha is a glorified town with no institutions that would make it be termed as a city

What is Onitsha metro?
You overdose yourself on Soph and start making up the building
There is nothing like that
Onitsha is the same size as Ikeja

I wanted to ask the same question what exactly is the Onitsha metro?

You can see the way they were pulling up statistics from their anus that Onitsha is the biggest market center in Nigeria. The other one even said Lagos doesn't have the kind of transport plying Onitsha. All these were done without one single statistic to back it up.

When you call them product of miracle centers they begin to foam but that's what they are.

Is Onitsha metropolitan?
Onitsha is a dirty IPOB village.
If you think Onitsha is metropolitan then relocate to Onitsha.

3 major things are used to arrive at the city

1. The density
2. Numbers of institutions
3. Cultural advancement

Onitsha can only boast of number one on the list but lacks in the other two.

How many 5-star hotels are in Onitsha that other cities don't have?

Ibadan beats Onitsha in several institutions

What about cultural advancement. How does the culture of Onitsha promote tourism and the influx of people? How many non- Igbo are residing in Onitsha?

Lmao Bros which school did you go to abeg?

Who told you they used this method to measure population?

Does Lagos have any 5 star hotel? Only Abuja and uyo yes small uyo have 5 star hotels in Nigeria

Institutions? So Kaduna is bigger than Lagos then?

Una dey talk ooh

Lagos Oriental Hotel
Lagos Palace Hotel
Sheraton Hotel
Eko Hotel and suite and many more

These are more than 10 5-star Hotels in Lagos.

You are always reasoning backward could be a result of a baked education.

What brings Kaduna to the discussion? I know your mind went to security institutions scattered in Kaduna, institution is not limited to education centers but establishments that satisfy the core need of society.

And yes, Kaduna passes as a city while Onitsha does

At the bolded look at how you embarrass yourself because of hate

I'm done replying to you too.

After Lagos, then Kano followed by Ibadan. Those are the cities worth mentioning in Nigeria

You are actually the person arguing stupidly here. A white man will read the nonsense you post and shake his head. You are very unintelligent but you think yourself to be intelligent. I don't know the sort of education you had, but I can affirm that it is a complete waste

Can you give us figures and stop beating about the Bush
How is it largest by what measures is it sales or land mass?
By volume of trade = main market Onitsha
By land area = Ariaria international market Aba
Lagos is not strategically located for trade like Onitsha, Aba and Kano. It only enjoys federal presence and ports which attracted population into it.

you are correct!....................Onitsha downtown to owerri central is about 90km..............that is not the longest commute, in fact in the US that is a modest commute of about 45 minutes! no wonder the largest multiplex cinema in Nigeria is coming up in Nnewi ! According to the promoters of the cinema, they are targeting all the tertiary institutions around nnewi numbering about 10 universities but if you include colleges in asaba, onitsha, awka and owerri you are talking close to 50 universities..........................That axis will experience boom with good governance!
Most yorubas know nothing outside their region. If you try do educate them they will not accept. Because their mind is program with Almighty Lagos mentality
