Lol. Sorry to say, education in Nigeria of today is more like wasting of resources and time. For every fully employed graduate in Nigeria, there is 20 unemployed/unemployed graduates. And it's getting worse. 1 Like 1 Share |

Honestly, I agree with you completely on this one. Education is the key! Abeg, if you're still in your undergraduate level, concentrate on your studies and come out with a good grade. That good grade can unlock a lot of scholarships for you abroad. 1 Like 1 Share |

So his administration knows this but they increased school fees and made it unaffordable to the poor? Is he not speaking from both sides of his mouth? . GuruboiNaija: 1 Like |

Raregem9000:I mean before the scholarship, during application and all that. Don't you think one would still spend some money no matter how little? |
Re: Education Remains Panacea For Poverty Eradication – VP Shettima by Raregem9000(m): 2:32pm On Nov 16, 2023 |
Of course, one would still spend a little money in the process and I believe this is still doable even if you come from a poor background. It all depends on how serious the person is with his/her life Villa12: |
Re: Education Remains Panacea For Poverty Eradication – VP Shettima by Villa12(m): 3:31pm On Nov 16, 2023 |
Raregem9000:yes it is doable but difficult if one is from poor background One needs the following Passport Transcript Laptop (though not mandatory but very essential) GRE Constant mobile data Application fee Savis fee Visa fee Flight ticket Clothes, shoes, travelling bag and other miscellaneous Most average Nigerians might find it somewhat difficult to get all that No scholarship is entirely free, one would have to spend money and time online making research or findings It's not easy sir. |
Re: Education Remains Panacea For Poverty Eradication – VP Shettima by maasoap(m): 9:00pm On Nov 16, 2023 |
seguno2:Well, education is necessary in this modern world. But Nigerians should forget about the belief of "finish school and get job" tradition. One needs to train his children to acquire skills alongside their formal education. It can be IT skill or business skill. Once they're through with their service, they don't have to roam the streets in search of 30k a month job. |
