You Can't Sit On Your Ass, Expecting The World To Cone To You

Most times I stop to wonder why black people. Or more to the point, why Nigerians, think too narrowly. And this sometimes gives me pause. There's a dearth of original thinking in Nigeria

Some lame brains here are blaming Tinubu for globetrotting, if that's what he's doing anyway.

You can't sit on your ass, isolating yourself, thinking investors will come to you. What are people doing with their brains? Following the herd of beer palour politics, where what is said becomes the rule of thumb for idiots.

Chinese president, Xi Xinping, recently visited the US for bilateral talks. So did OBJ in 1999, after Nigeria had become a pariah nation, coming from 16 years of military rule. Nigeria's image had fallen into the gutters. OBJ had to do this image laundering. And it paid off soon enough, as investors started coming in from around year 2000.

It's easy enough to compare Buhari with Tinubu. But these are different characters with different circumstances.

The Saudis are showing great interest in Nigeria's oil and gas, with a deal in the pipeline to help Nigeria fix its 4 ailing refineries. I mean are these not positives? People should think before they set down words.
