You didn't complete this.
You ignored verse.24

Galatians 5:24 And they that are Christ's have crucified the flesh with the affections and lusts

You don't understand?
For those that are in Christ, all these their witchcraft, impunity, hatred, jealousy etc have been crucified in the flesh, giving them a new spirit which is that of God

Therefore the advice in verse 25
Galatians 5:25 If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit.

There is no way you can substitute or combine Christ with your ability to live righteously.
What Christ did on the Cross, is unique for your salvation and there is nothing else that you will do that will offer that salvation to you order than Christ
You can't even live righteously in the first place

1 John 1:8 if we say we do not commit sin, then we lie and deceive ourselves
warn for saying the truth?

I didn't ignore anything. It just that you have failed to understand the message. Let me summarize it for you.

When you belong to Christ, you crucify your flesh with its passion and desires, Gal 5:24. In other words, Those who crucify their flesh don't engage in the acts of the flesh which includes, sexual immorality, hatred, jealousy, etc. Gal 5:19-21. Those who engage in the acts of the flesh were warned that they will not inherit the kingdom of God, Gal 5:21. Do not be deceived, If you do things of the flesh, you reap destruction, but if you do things of the spirit, you gain eternal life. Gal 6:7-8.

So anyone who thinks he belongs to Christ and still engage in act of the flesh thinking grace had covered them are simply deceiving themselves. What is written is very very clear.

Those who belong to Christ, have crucified their flesh. They live by the spirit and will not gratify the flesh, Gal 5:16. The flesh is contrary to the spirit and they are in conflict with each other, Gal 5:17. The fruit of the spirit are, love, joy, forbearance, self-control, etc.

You cannot serve two masters at a time. These are warnings to believers not pagans. Gal 1:2. Sow in the flesh and reap destruction, sow in the spirit and reap eternal life. Grace or believe cannot save anybody..
