How could they give out a room to strangers without any form of identification and recording. At least the name of the person who paid for the room should’ve been recorded, check in time and check out time as well.

There should be strict regulations guiding the operations of this sort of business and venues. Every hotel reception must have cctv covering the entrance, the compound and reception.

Most people give fake name, the only way they can get it is a there a court order for the telecommunications company to release call logs of the person.

Their records were not taken by the receptionist! Who is regulating this sector? They have cell phones, their names or phone numbers would have given the police something to work on in case of situations like this.
