steeltrust: This is true. I really can't understand Nigerians sometimes, but once TRIBE & RELIGION are part of the calculus, everything is clear. People don't mind suffering as long as the suffering is imposed by a ruler of their own tribe or religion. Conversely they will reject the best policies if it comes from outside their own tribe or religion. The major cause of economic dislocation in Nigeria today is fuel subsidies. This problem would have been solved looong ago but the idea came from the "wrong" person. That's the real lesson of Nigerian Democracy. There's a solution but Nigerians don't want it. kindlyheart: Corruption is NOT the basic problem in Nigeria. The real question is, what is the CAUSE of corruption? 🤔 Corruption is caused by government ownership and control of commercial companies and institutions AND government regulation of prices. So the REAL solutions are clear. Good Luck to Nigerians. 1 Like |

Ashez: OP and their Social Media Agents, are just too lucid and everything is to trends for Money! You should ask the man: - that since the PDP - 16-( OBJ, Yar'dua+ GEJ- yrs, which Refineries was working or Functional and Why was NNPC importing Fuels by spending our FOREX Money we should be saving! - the Man is based in the North, why didn't he asked questions during 8- yrs of Buhari, disastrous performance, that Most of the Ministers- performance was below expectations and Steal Big,with many can't render the Nation any Accountabilities in their till date! Shameful! - They were playing - 'rankadede'- with Corruption- while Majority of Innocent Northerners were being deceived by a Few Elites- that they are the Custodian of Terrorism,Crossboders , Criminalities Kidnappings, etc. and yet, still complaining because there is no more frivolous bills and Cross border Crude Oil Diversions, hence the Complaints! |

Nonny95: He is probably talking about running across the border, to Niger Republic or Benin Republic. Meanwhile, I will never understand people who tell other people to Run away from , without telling them where they should run to. Just run away sha. Such a cowardly and/or purposeless thing to do. That’s how many are jumping from frying pan to fire. 1 Like |

Bluntemperor: PDP did well for Nigeria. You're likely typing on a phone, it was PDP that made it possible. If Nigerians had accepted President Jonathan's cancelation of fuel subsidies and passed the original PIB it's likely the economy would be much better. It's OK sha, Nigerians are a special people. Good Luck to Nigerians! 2 Likes |

Nonny95: Exactly. I thought I was reading it wrongly. Last week two of my people in IJebu Ode were arguing over N200K had they had a gun they would have been shooting at each other. When I realized that N200K was less than $200 I had to put an end to the whole thing by agreeing to pay out just to allow peace to reign. |

He has more than 1 million naira in his own account, but this man is still here in Nigeria. When things don’t go their way then they want to be part of the masses. If Tinubu offers him appointment today, this man will change his story. |

Lols... E be things... Orishirishi something. The other time I learnt a lady, a very popular Tinubu supporter died in the hospital because she couldn't afford the bills as she complained previously on X that she wasn't feeling well and that she was buying a pint of blood for 50k. I know most of them here are seriously hit by the recession but they cannot say otherwise because of pride and tribalism 3 Likes 2 Shares |
