Not so true, go & read the law properly, when there is chaos in a party’s state structure with factions, elected party members are allowed to cross carpet, and it is quite clear in Rivers State that there is a problem.

Where is the factions? The party EXCO do not have any factions, so they are on their own .

So because there is issue as regards to the National Secretary of the PDP, it amounts to division in the party. The issue of the secretary of the PDP is in court.

Division is when there are two factions as in the case of PDP and NPDP era. And where there are parallel excos.

So they have no ground to defect.

That the party of Ifeanyi Uba refused to declare his seat vacant by writing to INEC or going to court to contest his defection, do not mean that the 27 House of Assembly members will escape it.

The PDP national has made a statement by calling for the declaration of their seat vacant. Well, let's see if the PDP will contest it in court so it will bring to finality this issue of defection.
