I think my wife deliberately set me up today. She asked that I assist her with food items/groceries shopping this weekend.

I was shocked at how the cost of things have tripled; from mutton, chicken, onions, tomatoes, periwinkle, yams, mangala.........everything.

Even with my 'alaroro' skills, I couldn't make much difference with the negotiations inside the market.

I ended up adding much much more money from my pocket than what we agreed. I didn't tell her and I hope she doesn't see this post. That will mean I will be coughing out more for the monthly allowances.

On the other hand, I really feel for people who can barely feed at this time. More painful is the fact that the positive impact of government's efforts to curtail this is almost non existent.

Government has to re-declare a state of emergency in the food sector. Food is the only language a hungry man understands, and millions of Nigerians are hungry.

In all honesty, I think the government of Tinubu is not interested in the plight of a just Nigerian.

That person sitting in Aso Rock does not have the capacity to rule Nigeria. Mind you, none of the three candidates from the frontline parties is good.

But I honestly think this guy is the most evil of them all.

Anyone who was old enough during his gubernatorial tenure in Lagos state and was in Lagos state should in fact know this man is not fit for this job.
