Many lies we accept with inappropriate exegesis!

1. Christmas wasn't mentioned by name anywhere in the Bible just as trinity!

2. Many so called big pastors has called it idolatrous or don't celebrate it.

3. Jesus spent about 33 years on earth and he didn't for once celebrated Christmas!

4. The Christmas tree and Santa are pathetic symbols of paganism! We call masquerades idolatry but embrace red and white Santa!

How was Christmas celebrated anywhere in the Bible like this?

You can cancel it all. People like will be tuned to big brother so keenly but will oppose Christianity. If I decide to choose a day to celebrate the day of establishment of my salvation, it shouldn't be your problem. And if it is, you can sip a bottle of otapiapia.

When fela was alive, there was nothing like felabration... Christmas is a celebration of Christ (Jesus Christ).... He could only be celebrated for been the savior of the world after He is gone and not while He's alive.

When people start questioning celebrating the king of kings because they choose to bow down five times a day to relics in East kept by a known pedophile.

Jesus is Lord of all flesh.

We will celebrate Jesus forever and ever Amen.

What rule exactly says i can't celebrate the one who established my salvation? I understand that the whole thing has been turned around and it has even gone beyond Celebrating Christ Himself but Christmas is Christmas. It is what it is.

Lol. Jesus has been known by different names throughout the centuries. I think the most famous and recent is Baal. By fire, by force Africans must leave this entity known as Jesus appearing as an angel of light to deceive the whole world and put you in bondage.

We will continue to worship Jesus as the son of God from everlasting to everlasting. If e pain you, look for the nearest transformer with power on it and hug.

Jesus is Lord of all flesh.

I see many comments from the other religion to troll these thread but if it was a Muslim thread I will have to swear and agree to an oat before commenting.... It unfair and totally unacceptable... If the other religion have to comment on a Christian thread as this they shld be made to swear an oat as well... That will reduce the number of trolls on Christian threads

No problem. I already deleted my initial post cos I hate dealing with Nigerian Christians. But let me drop one sentence for you, go research why your ancestors called Christianity the devil’s religion and why they will rather kill themselves and their children before they were converted to Christianity by the sword. But I know you are too lazy to do the research.

It's not a rule Sir... It's just normal to honor a great person that impacted the world when they are gone. All the people on the currencies are all gone but they were honored by putting them on the currencies for their national contributions.

Tell me why do you celebrate Salah ?

To be fair, I see no trolling in their comments. They asked questions in a civil manner and the only people throwing insults here are the Christians themselves.

When the Christians go to the Muslim section, they do so to ask questions (with insults) and troll. I think if you do not have a clear and solid answer to a question, you either go do some research or you ignore all together.

If you plan to win souls for Christ, then you need to project the teachings of Christ to them by way of your manners or approach.

While you Christians say evil things about Muhammad and the Muslims, you can never see a Muslim say the same about Jesus Christ because Jesus is highly regarded in Islam and insulting is blasphemous.

Please you guys should learn to engage conversations in a gentle manner without throwing insults here and there. Thanks

And the Qur'an also called Jesus a servant/slave of Allah in Qur'an 19:30 or so!

Christmas just like most parts of today's Christianity were the invention of Roman Pagans under the King Constantine who was not himself a Christian, in the year 325 CE. Jesus is a Greek name which Yeshua was never known with in his time. Not to mention that St. Paul has not met with him. Today's Bible will easily win the Guiness world record of book of contradictions with thousands of contradictions. The brutal truth is that today's Christianity and today's Bible cannot stand scrutiny. It's sad.

Even though I am a atheist - more agnostic, I like the character of Jesus. He is a humanist, a pacifist and socialist, quite the opposite of the character of Paul, on who Christianity is modeled on. Christianity in fact should be called paulinity as it projects the views of Paul and not Jesus.

Christianity is a mixture of Paul's views, ancient Roman Paganism and Roman political structure.

Who Was The First Human To Celebrate Jesus?

According to the Bible, the first ever person on Earth to celebrate Jesus was an unborn child (fetus of John the Baptist), however even more astonishing is the fact that Jesus was just an embryo (only a few weeks after His conception) when He was first celebrated by the fetus of John.

Luke 1:35-36 (KJV)

And the angel answered and said unto her, The Holy Ghost shall come upon thee, and the power of the Highest shall overshadow thee: therefore also that holy thing which shall be born of thee shall be called the Son of God.
And, behold, thy cousin Elisabeth, she hath also conceived a son in her old age: and Who this is the sixth month with her, who was called barren.

Luke 1:39-42 (KJV)

And Mary arose in those days, and went into the hill country with haste, into a city of Juda;
And entered into the house of Zacharias, and saluted Elisabeth.
And it came to pass, that, when Elisabeth heard the salutation of Mary, the babe leaped in her womb; and Elisabeth was filled with the Holy Ghost:
And she spake out with a loud voice, and said, Blessed art thou among women, and blessed is the fruit of thy womb.

This wasn't a coincidence but a divine orchestration by God using the instance of His only begotten Son to prove that life of a human begins at conception, not birth, hence why it is nothing but pure murder to end the life even if it's at the earliest stages of pregnancy.

Imagine if the mother of Jesus had not valued the life of Jesus at this early stage, but sought to abort the pregnancy because she thought He wasn't yet human but just an embryo?

There would be no Jesus for John the Baptist to celebrate at that early stage of His life, not to talk of celebrating His birth as was being done today, 2000 years later.

Let's learn to value the life of the unborn child today, if not because of anything else, because of Jesus.

God bless.
Unborn Child is a foetus or embryo not human. Stop complicating simple stuff

Yes we want the Red and White Santa because his only Job is going out distributing Bundles Of Joys and good Wishes..

..Not Bombs and terror.

And mind you, Jesus is the reason for the Season.
Jesus didn't celebrate Christmas because he is the Christ!

For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.
[17] For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved. John 3:16-17 NKJV

So, a world without Christmas meant humanity would be forever doomed and would be slaves to sin, death, hell, satan, poverty, sickness, and other negative things. But, Hallelujah! Jesus gave the victory!

I will Celebrate with Jingle-bells, Tall Christmas tree and lightings, Very fine Wine, Chicken and Pastries, Jollof-rice with moi-moi, elegant dressings, with heart full of Joy.

Alimajiri go chop taya.

Haaa!
Is Jesus not wonderful?!
