In my opinion, John the Baptist(still in the womb) responded to Mary's voice not to the baby in her womb.
Let's be guided, so we don't add or remove from the word of God.

Wow! shocked

This is arguably the very BEST and most meaningful POST I've ever read of any section on Nairaland. The scriptures, and their analysis were so deep and on point - revealing a whole lot of hitherto unknown knowledge and education; a type you rarely find in most church sermons!

God bless you, rewards you, and increases you immensely for sharing, jesusjnr2020

Who Was The First Human To Celebrate Jesus?

According to the Bible, the first ever person on Earth to celebrate Jesus was an unborn child (fetus of John the Baptist), however even more astonishing is the fact that Jesus was just an embryo (only a few weeks after His conception) when He was first celebrated by the fetus of John.

Luke 1:35-36 (KJV)

And the angel answered and said unto her, The Holy Ghost shall come upon thee, and the power of the Highest shall overshadow thee: therefore also that holy thing which shall be born of thee shall be called the Son of God.
And, behold, thy cousin Elisabeth, she hath also conceived a son in her old age: and Who this is the sixth month with her, who was called barren.

Luke 1:39-42 (KJV)

And Mary arose in those days, and went into the hill country with haste, into a city of Juda;
And entered into the house of Zacharias, and saluted Elisabeth.
And it came to pass, that, when Elisabeth heard the salutation of Mary, the babe leaped in her womb; and Elisabeth was filled with the Holy Ghost:
And she spake out with a loud voice, and said, Blessed art thou among women, and blessed is the fruit of thy womb.

This wasn't a coincidence but a divine orchestration by God using the instance of His only begotten Son to prove that life of a human begins at conception, not birth, hence why it is nothing but pure murder to end the life even if it's at the earliest stages of pregnancy.

Imagine if the mother of Jesus had not valued the life of Jesus at this early stage, but sought to abort the pregnancy because she thought He wasn't yet human but just an embryo?

There would be no Jesus for John the Baptist to celebrate at that early stage of His life, not to talk of celebrating His birth as was being done today, 2000 years later.

Let's learn to value the life of the unborn child today, if not because of anything else, because of Jesus.

God bless.

Even though I am a atheist - more agnostic, I like the character of Jesus. He is a humanist, a pacifist and socialist, quite the opposite of the character of Paul, on who Christianity is modeled on. Christianity in fact should be called paulinity as it projects the views of Paul and not Jesus.

Christianity is a mixture of Paul's views, ancient Roman Pagansism and Roman political structure.

Thank you for saying what I avoid saying. You're learned, I can see.

It's like you missed the Celebration which the Mother of the Unborn Baby First Celebrated when she said “I am just a lowly servant of the Lord.. Let the will of the Lord be done on me”.

Is that not a celebration?

Why is your God so wrathful or vengeful?

How can someone who created Man and gave him everything be wrathful and vengeful??

God is not wrath with man. God is wrath with the devil and his fallen angels who fell from glory.. however if a man/woman decides to follow the antecedents of the devil, then he/she falls under the wrath of God

Lies. Jesus asked his followers to celebrate important events such as the Last Supper, which is commemorated through the sacrament of Holy Communion, and the resurrection, which is celebrated on Easter. These events hold significant meaning in the Christian faith.
Jesus also asked his followers to celebrate the event of his baptism. It marked the beginning of his public ministry and symbolized his identification with humanity.

Jesus no even mention anything like Christmas

Just because you created something is not justification to be wrathful and vengeful, particularly for egocentric reasons. I gave birth to children ( which I created in a sense). If I decide to be wrathful and vengeful and every disobedience the commit, I would have killed them long ago.
That's why I said I like the character of Jesus, he was a pacifist and never wrathful or vengeful, that character belongs to Yahweh and Allah.

God is wrath with the devil, but instead of him to take his personal beef with the devil, he decides to take it on man, who was not even involved with their beef to start with.

Your God is just to wrathful for someone like me. I am not a wrathful person. Anyone with negative emotions, I avoid.

That's what you choose to believe.
Jesus never told his disciples he was God to be worshipped, that was Paul.

Jesus never created any hierarchy in his organization, he sat on the floor together with his disciples, he never sat on a high chair. He did not create Bishops, elders, pastors. He said you can talk to God directly and don't need to talk to God through bishops, popes, pastors, etc.
He eat from the same table with his followers. He never personally owned any property. He never denigrated women, he did not see them as inferior.

All these I mentioned above were introduced by Paul and not Jesus.

I doubt that even Paul taught the pagan doctrine of the Trinity.

Pauline Christianity leaves much to be desired indeed, and in some parts, is downright reprehensible.

Generally true, but I must add that -

1) Jesus was not entirely pacifist. He was quite the rebel against the religious establishment of his day. Taking a whip to traders in the temple, calling the Pharisees a brood of vipers and children of Satan, and saying - "I bring not peace but a sword" - - - none of this is pacifism.

2) To the general extent that his teaching was pacifist, pacifism is an irresponsible ideology.

God is wrath with the devil, but instead of him to take his personal beef with the devil, he decides to take it on man, who was not even involved with their beef to start with.
