A Nigerian couple has caused a stir with their transformation photos after living in an uncompleted building for 3 years after marriage.

Simisola responded to a netizen who asked individuals to explain growth with two photos by sharing these motivational images.

In response to inquisitive online users, Simisola stated that the 2020 photo was shot, and the older one was taken in 2017.

She claims they were married in 2020, went through difficult times, and are now parents to two children. She remembered that they were penniless and had lodged in an uncompleted building.

According to her:

“No never, we got married in 2020 and now with 2 children. “It (the first picture) was from 2017, One of my weight loss students just paid 3,000naira for a meal plan and we were happy food don set for the week. “We were outside one of his uncles’ house at Abule Oko at Agbado Oja.

“The man gave us one of his empty buildings because my hubstar relocated to Lagos from Nassarawa where he sold off his chicken farm because we started our relationship. Anyways, we lived there till we had money to get a place in Magodo.”

A few exceptions do not negate the validity of a rule or theory.

Our women have commercialised even the most basic of intergender interactions which aren't intimate or romantic, as something as commonplace as constant interactions is seen as an opportunity to fleece or extort. Even casual male friends are extorted from or fleeced, not to mention men they are in sexual and/or romantic relationships with.

Have I experienced good women? Yes. Have I been with or still with relatively selfless ones? Yes. Still, my experience, just like the example posted by the OP, doesn't negate the more common experiences of most Nigerian men.

So because of love and marriage [b]( extra responsibility)
, he sold off his chicken farm ( we were not told if it was doing well or not) and came to Lagos because of woman and was sleeping in uncompleted building

The story doesn't add up 1 bit. Also what steps did they take to upgrade. Dis his uncle or anyone help him or he suddenly hit one contract ( rare occurrence)

Story is so vague and unclear and left out so many important details for us to conclude

The first picture was taken before the marriage, so I don't see the connection at all. The second picture, we are made to believe was taken after living rent-free for what may have been 3 years, probably no bills either, adding 2 kids, and are now fat, and that is what amounts to growth in Nigeria still? undecided

You mean the glory of living rent-free for 3 years, packing on pounds as a result of not needing to spend on rent at all during all that time, and then calling it growth? undecided

I would not recommend any of that nonsense to any sane woman out there. The picture of them fat from not haven paid rent for about 3 years is just that, a picture, not a sign of growth. undecided

Imagine that! Weight gain — front and back—, plus 2 kids on top is growth? Why are Nigerians desperate to remain backward? lipsrsealed

you an your likes concluded a broke man deserve no pussy, and are not ready to grow with your man, seeking “ready made” men to leach on to

This lady is different, Shey married her man and even lived in an incomplete building for many years, some of you can’t wouldn’t even date a man living in a single room apartment, so most Nigerian men are not wrong when they say most Nigerian girls are waste of time

Good thing you know about the second sentence you made. It is not ideal to use one observed trait to draw a conclusion about a particular group.

As for the first sentence, NOT COOL AT ALL. ]Pls try to maintain some decorum on public fora.
