Because Israel is following international war standards...if they wipe the entire region, the same "new York times" will shout "humanitarian pause"
same way Russia is following international standard in Ukraine

And Hamas is crying for cease fire.

New York times or Hamas times.

Don't play.

Israel dey give them hot fire and brimstones.

By the time New York times finally reports that Hamas is defeated maybe then Palestinians will be begging to come to Sudan
actually people calling for ceasefire are doing so for the women and children who are dying from bombs. Nobody is telling Israel not to go meet Hamas in their underground tunnels but Israelis dare not enter the tunnels so they prefer bombing churches, mosques, hospitals and residential buildings since those ones can't fight back. How many hostages have the Isrealis been able to free?

This news is like adding petrol to a fire if care is not taken Israel might be forced to bypass International war standards and nuke the whole of Gaza. We all know that Hamaz regrets their actions but their ego won't let them surrender because of the overhyping from the media outlets and all terrorist sympathizers on Nland and beyond

Just like eliminating IPOB from the East. It's hard to do because you don't know who is who.

You can't completely win a war when the locals passively support the rebels/terrorists.
they are not terrorists if the locals who live with them support them. Locals don't support real terrorists like Boko Haram, ISIS Aqaeda etc. The likes of Hamas, Hezbolah, Taliban aren't terrorists, the US and friends just call them terrorists because they don't like them

You are right, the entire east is infested with unknown gunmen supported by locals. I propose carpet bombing of key cities like Onitsha to root out terrorists using civilians as human shields. This is according to Israeli military doctrine supported by Igbo jews.

Hamas don too know isreal tactics, behavior military and all about them, isreal is hawking around killing women and children with rage while hamas is calm and strikes for the kill, slowly slowly isreal forces are being eaten like yam, in the end isreal would run in frustration just like USA did in Afghanistan

What they couldnt do in 50 years? You people think with your anuusss

Dbestbrest:
It is absurd to see hamas using children and women as shield and claiming that they can match up with Israel. The earlier they own up the better for them to stop further killings of innocent civilians. You are hiding in tunnels and coming out occasionally to attack and think that's how to with a war? As Israel had divided the strip into 3, it will make the job easier for them to destroy all the tunnels in the north, then relocate central Gazans to north before obliterating Hamas and their tunnels from central Gaza before moving to south. I just pity the dead men still walking and hiding in Turkey, Lebanon and Qatar, as their days on earth are numbered

Indeed.
The extensive tunnel infrastructure built over the last few years has aided the resilience of these criminal group called Hamas. To make things even more complex, most Palestinians from childhood have been indoctrinated to have intense hate for all Israelis, the Western countries, and non-Muslims just like the Thai citizens that were killed, and the 21-year-old Black Tanzanian worker in Southern Israel who was videoed being deliberately stabbed to death despite NOT being an Israeli citizen.

Second is the support of Iran and other Palestinian allies in fueling this hate and war by supplying funds, weapons, and other logistics thereby aggravating the situation in the Middle East. It's gonna be a drawn out war.

Tell this to these boys called AntiChristian, CoronaVirusPro, k4kenny, Lukuluku69 Rashduct4luv Dominique, Biodun556 and other terrorists that they are chickens to Hamas.

The best thing to do at this point is to a caretaker government be setup to run Gaza, sought of a "technocracy."

All Gulf Arab states should be stakeholders with perhaps the US, UK and other Western nations chiming into this project. The only spoilers will be Syria and Iran.

Competent technocrats should be appointed to run Gaza.

This ignoramus who belongs to the religion that claims to be peaceful but kills people everywhere it goes.

You haven't freed Palestine from it's Billionaire rulers who all live far away in safety in Qatar?

Hahahaha.

The 4 top leaders of Hamas are worth a collective $11B.

Money they stole from aid sent to Gaza.

Shame on you and your ilk

You mean indiscriminate bombing of civilians and civilian infrastructure so much that US ask Isreal to cease first and stop their indiscriminate bombing. Hamas are where they are, but thousands of civilians are being bombed. Face Hamas! US wasn’t bombing everything in their path in the war Iraq.

Point of correction, Israeli contractors that building the largest hospital Al shifa indeed built a basement for it, that Hamas converted. But not the tunnels.
