That's a lot of money save compared to how much made. May next year be better for you.

I currently have almost nothing saved, though I earned alot, but the new year bring much better for us all.

Two days ago I removed 500k from my business and dropped it in my account.

I can work the whole year without paying myself

The interest isn't much, it feels like a waste of time.

The aim is for you to save "a portion of your income" to cultivate the habit of saving not for their meagre interest rates

Made and saved a good amount this year. I worked my ass off and suffered countless sleepness nights to get to that amount. Hoping to work even harder next year.

My piece of advice to anyone saving is that you should do your savings in dollars. Naira will dip like a bastard in the coming years. Save yourself tears and save in foreign currency.

Alhamdulillahi this year was really a good year for me, I didn't save any thing from January to July.
Alhamdulillahi from
August to December things changed at least I saved close to a million naira, If I calculate the value of things I bought I made more than a million naira.

I am taking 1,060,774 to 2024. It's very painful because I planned rounding up this year with 2m but all glory to God.

@OP You want to come and rob ba?.. what do you need such info for if I may ask.

Most of you are insensitive on this forum. In the era of kidnappings and all sort, you are asking how much people saved.
How are kidnappers and allsorts going find anyone on here? It is impossible, 99% of people on here are not who their profiles says they are. Fake names and faceless forum. So chill!

... You should budget your spending... Buy things in bulk (very important).. as for me I no dey do pass myself .. I live in a nice selfcon where I pay 180k per annum.. I budget 30k to 40k every month for gas, toiletries, perishable foods, and other things... Then I buy grains, palm oil and other foodstuffs where they are cheap in bulk.. example around March/April this year, I bought palm oil 25 litres for 18k now it's around 32k..

Yeah, thanks.
I need to start cooking my food full time.

How much do you earn a month?
