Beware the fury of a betrayed friend. A patient, pitiless friend like Godwin Emefiele. The embattled former Governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) may be out for blood amid his trial for fraud and official misconduct during his time as CBN head honcho. https://politicsnigeria.com/efcc-raid-has-emefiele-thrown-dangote-under-the-bus/ 13 Likes 4 Shares

It can be possible because it can not be only him doing all this alone. He most have given backup by powerful northern to do all this fraud. I trust Dangote, he knows how to negotiate his way, by implicate another government officials. Like what he did against Faruq 35 Likes 2 Shares |

The system is very very corrupt. None of these guys at the top is clean. That's why some of us get furious when a group of people try to tell us that one of them is a Saint and a Messiah. Only foolish people say that rubbish. All of them are corrupt. All of them! 85 Likes 5 Shares |

I won't hold my breath but I hope Tinubu allows the new EFCC boss to carry out his works without interference. I'll imagine the elites in the North will start lobbying for EFCCtl to back off. 17 Likes 1 Share |

How can one borrow money for the primary goal of simply embezzling it? Emefiele has no conscience. There's bound to be a lot more sleaze to be discovered. 35 Likes 4 Shares |

It's clear that there are issues in Nigeria that need to be addressed, and it's important to hold people and companies accountable. While Dangote has contributed to the economy in some ways, there have also been concerns about its impact on the economy and the environment. I hope that we can find solutions that create positive change and benefit everyone. 11 Likes 2 Shares |

Emefiele, with the name of CBN\Nigeria borrowed $1b and gave a large part of the loan to Dangote while the rest was possibly embezzled, but Nigeria and Nigerians will continue to repay the interest and the capital . This is why there has been nothing to show for the several loans over the years . Nigeria needs to punish corruption through death penalty 33 Likes 3 Shares |

See the way this writter is demonizing Emefiele. Instead of him to say Dangote was implicated in the efcc probe he is writing it to say Emefiele throw Dangote under the bus. A crime committed by two of them. Emefiele was supposed to shield him because he is Dangote and a northerner. 26 Likes 2 Shares |

It is bad thing for a leader to be dull and worse when your followers know very well that their boss is very dull. All these were happening under Buhari. Till now Buhari is the worst thing that ever happen to Nigeria, worse than the civil war!!! 22 Likes 2 Shares |
Re: EFCC Raid: Has Emefiele Thrown Dangote Under The Bus? by youngrichnigga: 11:18am On Jan 05 |
I read the article through however, the writer(s) made a deliberate, conscious effort to avoid mentioning the name of Buhari. Note: Emefiele did not act of his own volition,; it was obvious he derived his powers from the country's head huncho at that time/point 11 Likes 3 Shares |

The whole system is rotten to the core. Only a total reset can move the country forward. Right now all we have is a system of criminal musical chairs, were different crooks keep changing places on the criminal high table every 4-8 years. 7 Likes |
