@tpia

This one no be them say na 1st hand experience. I know it will be hard for you to believe but ask any doctor doing locum work in the UK what their hourly rate is. This renumeration was + free accomodation o. £2000/ week is nothing in locum world is standard for a doctor who has just passed his plab. The only disadvantage with locum work is no progression and you may have to go all over the country.

norrisman:

N80,000/ month - Fresh doctors salary @ OSUTH
N2,000,000/month - Fresh doctor with PLAB doing locum work @ any UK hospital

Which one you go choose?

Obamedo:

The starting salary for a doctor in the UK isn't 35k, it's about 25k but that's besides the
Point. The cost of living is much higher in the UK regarding things like transport, housing etc so don't expect your salary to afford you a life of luxury

norrisman

hope you see your error.

are you saying a doctor fresh out of med school will immediately start earning big bucks?

i dont think the system works like that, unless maybe in the UK.

Nonsense

But tell me why should your brother be the one to end your financial worries, this is madness gone riot.

His career is for the benefit of his family first and if he can afford to help his extended family good, otherwise other than parents it is not a must.

Bad mentality.

Read your own book and pass your own exams.

Nothing is wasted serving your fatherland , it is not always about money money money, honestly can you guys not see beyond dollars

He should have bought a new mattress and disinfected the room.

Oh yeah, huge wages to send back home , while multitudes are living in want of medical help.

When will a Nigerian put the welfare of others above their fanatical desire for comfort and luxury.

This is why the white man has succeeded, in those old days, they gave up all they had to come and live in Squalor while helping the natives.

We too love life, that's why Nigeria is the way it is today.

Good
