If the price of fuel does not decrease then government budget and minimum wage will go up and all of us will adjust to the new pricing

When it does please don't forget to post it here.
Hope it would happen in this tinubu tenure?

If you were a businessman, and you were selling yam you bought from farmer at N1500 per tuber, will you sell that same tuber at N200 per tuber to help the poor breathe? To help the masses breathe?

You will not, because your business will die.

Dangote needs to pay salaries(at the rate that his workers would not jakpa), pay taxes, pay for crude at international prices, pay for maintenance costs, etc etc. Expecting him to do all that and then sell fuel at N200 per liter because of the masses is a big joke.

Businesses are not charities. They exist to make profits, and to make more profits. They do not care about the masses, because if they let the masses set their prices, they would crash. If the masses were allowed to set MTN and Airtel prices, they would crash well well.

Hopefully, it would reduce the pressure on dollars, and hopefully this means the cost of transporting fuel falls. But the era of cheap fuel is over. NNPC is even now a private company self.

The funny thing is people will call me oppressor now. Ok. If a business cannot set its prices, how would it make profit for shareholders and workers? Shebi government go pay am? Lol.
if Buhari is the president, will you give this warped analysis?

Igbo can't make such statements, they are always negative to good things. So he cannot be a Igbo.

This comment shows the level of delusion from you and your kind in nairaland. No Igbo man has said anything but you have imagined scenarios in your head and you have started throwing shades at igbos, if they reply you now you will say they hate good thing. Whereas you are the one whose delusion is similar to mental illness.

Nope....
I am happy. Just the fact that Nigerians are going through a lot already. Dangote is a shroud capitalist who doesn't like Lagosians enough.
Otedola just gave 1 billion yesterday to Lagos security fund. Why would Dangote not give too ?
Last time he gave Jobs to Engineering graduates mainly from his core Northern people only. What of other Southern Engineering graduates who own the land and better qualified?
Across the country, Dangote trailers kill Southerners like rats every time with zero justice ⚖️ for the dead. He singlehandedly destroyed our roads with his heavy haulage of cements Across Southern regions.
Can an Igbo business man try all these and still remain standing?

🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
This one is in sifia pains......

If you know how much Dangote is donating to several organizations in Lagos, you won't type these trash.....

I thought gas flaring has stopped. Why the flaring? Can't it be converted to a useful purpose? I understand gas flaring produces excessive carbon monoxide (CO) which destroys ozone layer leading to global warming.

Same thoughts ran through my mind.

How can there be flaring in an "utra modern facility"? And what happen to global warming that was on the lips of almost every politician? But we know they can explain. Let's just hope this is for start up purposes only or we will soon begin to feel the environmental damage when we begin to roast with the resulting heat and be cooled down with sudden drenching rains.

It does. Maybe that's what is obtainable for now.
There should be modification to the structure that would ensure proper conversion of such gas into useable forms .

You same people said no refinery working, hurling all kinds of insults on govt now Dangote refinery have started, NNPC refinery will start in a week time yet you are here still complaining.

You said petrol price too high now the govt is doing everything to avoid us importing petrol that belong to us to trim doown the price yet you are not happy.

Pls what do want? I ask again and again what do you want?

People like you made Buhari what he was for 8 years as president by ignoring everybody and give no f u c k about the masses because we lament too much over everything in absolute.

Tell us when Dangote came to the east and which state did he go to? Make una take am easy to dey lie.

A gas flare, alternatively known as a flare stack, flare boom, ground flare, or flare pit, is a gas combustion device used in places such as petroleum refineries, chemical plants and natural gas processing plants, oil or gas extraction sites having oil wells, gas wells, offshore oil and gas rigs and landfills.

Flare stack at the Shell Haven refinery in England
In industrial plants, flare stacks are primarily used for burning off flammable gas released by safety valves during unplanned overpressuring of plant equipment.[1][2][3][4][5] During plant or partial plant startups and shutdowns, they are also often used for the planned combustion of gases over relatively short periods.

At oil and gas extraction sites, gas flares are similarly used for a variety of startup, maintenance, testing, safety, and emergency purposes.[6] In a practice known as production flaring, they may also be used to dispose of large amounts of unwanted associated petroleum gas, possibly throughout the life of an oil well.[7]

Let the Oil get to the depots first na ...but I am happy Africa Heart Beat is pumping again ... All thanks to Alhaji and his team ....and of course the Federal Government ..I just hope more companies needing the Petrochemical side of the refinery can come and set up in some of the sleepy civil servant state in the South West ..Make they wake up small ... make the great Jagaban of Africa also put enabling policies so the young people of this country can have access to credit without collateral but by referral or credit score , and also cut all the bottle necks with respect to Intra -African trade. Although with due respect to my Igbo brothers , they are everywhere in Africa...

Products exported will improve Nigeria's balance of trade.

That's means more dollars in the economy which will automatically force down the price of dollar in exchange market.
