Throwback:

So the Intelligence Service just became rotten like the Police too became rotten in 2023?

Did the illegal mining just start in 2023?
did apc come into power in 2023?

Until we start being proactive and make these politicians be on their toes we would to suffer such devastating mishaps.

How the government is so lax with security and safety of the citizens is something still beyond me. How are illegal aliens allow to ride roughshod on the citizens and engage in criminal activities is a sacrilege.

Who is in charge of all the security agencies?

It is not about the closeness but the constitution, it is like you saying that the councilor should be responsible for the security of the people because he is the closest, which security agency can he command?

Till the constitution is changed the whole blame falls on Tinubu....

Yes, they are all under the federal government. The governors are also the chief security officers of their states.
all states commissioners of police, have a good rapport with the governors, and they are all at the disposal of the governors under the same constitutions.
The governors can invite them, to discuss any insecurity in their various states.
The councilors have such responsibilities too, any insecurity in their various local governments.

And that is where it ends, the governor cannot command them, if they refuse to work he can't do them anything, the president is the commander in chief till the constitution changes..

Sometimes I wonder what would have happened if the Oloibiri oilfield wasn't discovered by the whites in those days. Perhaps it would have been a secret swept under the rug and only accessible to some influenced minority today as well.
I suspect such is happening in some underdeveloped African countries today.

BLACKS.....THERE'S SOMETHING WRONG WITH US AND IT'S BEYOND THE SURFACE

It's not a black thing it's a global reality of hyper-capitalism.
If you're familiar with Australia, some parts of Canada, you'll discover so many countries around this world where minerals cause corruption and this manifests as conflict in parts of African because of the lack of governance in remote areas, moral poverty and greed.

Damn! The epicenter of the blast in Bodija Estate looks like a bombed out scene from the Russian-Ukraine War.

Also, security agents had a hectic time controlling the crowd that was bent on having a glimpse of the scene.

Nigerians! Always looking for what to go and lie about on Facebook, so they don't care about their own safety.

We all know Nigeria police and intelligence agency are slacking. I don’t know whether to say they are completely useless because of how overstretched they are.

However, the people should be the intelligence themselves. The earlier we Nigeria know that policing is a shared effort the better for us.

Nigeria is underpoliced and that is the reality. 300k police cannot manage this much population without people giving them information.

If people in the area know that illegal miners store their mining stuffs in the house which they know is very bad for safety. They should be the one to go report out there to the authorities.

Then if the authorities fail to act, that is where the problem then lie.

The problem is not report, the issue is acting and not even leaking out the info to the culprits

Nigeria policing system is the worst in the entire world, and when the government had a great opportunity to salvage it, they killed their people instead.

A corruption infested police and an obsolete force can't do nothing in a country experiencing crisis.

You people sha want this to be called a terrorist attack badly so you can be happy that Yoruba people are going through this and find a way to link it to them voting against Obi.

Lot of people like you are on Twitter running around sad because it was not a terrorists attack.

One would think if Obi suddenly becomes the president, that no disaster will
Ever happen in Nigeria again and everyone will suddenly become immortal.

That's a man made disaster, probably caused by the corrupt tendencies of our government

Irrespective of tribe, we need to make our leaders accountable, who knows if they are also hiding somethings
