Taxing is socialism na oga

In capitalism cooperation don't really pay tax as long as they reinvest the capital creating more jobs

Over taxation is the first sign of socially for even wealth distribution

Abia state have absolutely no business building a modular refinery honestly... This is a complete waste of money, the refinery can't mathematically breakeven not to talk about making profit

Expand the Aba gas pipeline network to the eyimba economic city, expand same to uturu, umuahia, Ohafia and arochukwu

Dredge the artificial Aba river expand it to umuahia providing alternative travel route for the people

And cheaper means to transport goods to umuahia and port Harcourt

Open up more specific industal layout with gas pipeline and good road infrastructure

Please stop this AWOLOWO like feel good project... Igbos are capitalists we don't do that rubbish

If we need our refinery provide loans for our brothers to build one

Government have no business in business

You want the governor to dredge Aba river(stream) to Umuahia na wao.
About the refinery, allow the investors to decide if it is viable or not.

2025 you go hear am cos I know for a fact this is a lie to fool obidient even more

Anambra with his Orient Petroleum commissioned 14 years ago after Peter Pandora. Obi invested billion of Anambra fund is yet to produce a single litre of fuel yet Dangote that was commissioned less than 6 month as already started production.

That Orient Petroleum is not working does not mean Abia refinery will meet same fate.Take your negativity to your state.

Create jobs? In a none viable project?
What makes you think a Modular refinery in Abia is not viable?

Again what Abia is building is an energy hub, officially called Energy Transition Hub. It'll house the refinery and CNG and LNG plants at the Abia Industrial Innovation Park (AIIP). But the refinery will be the first major project.

The AIM of the energy hub is to secure a sustainable energy future for the state. As you probably know, Aba is no longer on the national grid. The city generate, transmits and distributes her electricity. So, it's no longer a victim of the incessant national grid collapse.

Now, Aba Power is working to achieve 24/7 power supply to the city and this energy hub is critical to it. At the moment, it's struggling with steady electricity supply because the state depends on NNPC for gas and we know how we beg to get them.

So, mrvitalis, we know what we are doing in Abia.

Without this energy hub, we will be unable to power the Enyimba Economic City and our Aba Power.

We know what we are doing. We don't want to depend on FG for any of our energy needs again.

Why Nigeria is on retrogression like this?
Countries are talking of Ecofriendly energy (Green Energy), my country is dipping itself to fossil fuel energy. Edo Modular Refinery, Imo State Modular Refinery next is Abia State Modular Refinery.

I think on the flip side countries develop at their own rate and from a security point of view it makes sense we still to energy sources in line with our comparative advantages. I don't see a strategic advantage that comes from green energy besides a shift that puts us at the mercy of other countries and their systems as well.

Taxing has nothing to do with socialism or capitalism.

It's a fiscal policy instrument used by both socialist, capitalist and mixed economies to achieve economic stabilisation.

Bros if you don't understand what I'm saying say so

Socialism , you tax people over Tax them there is no incentives to invest

Capitalism you tax but there is incentives to not pay tax by investing more of your profit back into your business ... This create more jobs and increase GDP

Maybe this is too complicated for you... I have shown you video explaining it
