It would increase crime rate the more. The problem is our govt. If the govt in those states can be strict to insecurity like Wike, all these would have reduced to the minimum but the Northern Govt are pampering these terrorists and this is making things worst. These guys keep protecting the ruthless terrorists. E.g Shiek Gumi(the Ambassador of Terrorists) yet our so-called DSS have refused to arrest him. |

Even if they legalize the guns, how many people in Nigeria will be able to afford the cost and the bullet or amunitions, or will the government distribute them for free to the public? Or is gun that easily cheap to obtain |

Kionrae: Yeah it is... But, it is better than defenseless people being slaughtered like goats. In the failure to secure your nation, you allow people defend themselves. We've been calling for better state and national security for years now, and it has continued to fall on deaf ears. If things don't change, the revolution will be bloody!!! You can't just assume Nigerians will keep swallowing this nonsense forever. |

SALLYBERRY01:But then what is the solution? I should think it makes sense - give guns to the innocent and vulnerable. They claim to carry guns to protect their cattle, it only makes sense that farmers have guns to protect their farms as well. By the way, this is also what is obtained in the more civilized world. |

If the government won't make public the sponsors of insecurity, if they cannot go after terrorists and their sponsors, they should allow the victims of insecurity to own guns. |
