Things like her appointment are determined by human efforts, not by prayer. If you pray without efforts, it won't happen. If you make the appropriate efforts without prayer, it will happen. This is why many who pray fail while many who do not pray succeed. Prayer is very necessary and effective, but it's function is not for economic or political success. The function of prayer is to connect or reconcile you with God, save you from the enemies you can't identify (not from identified enemies), and position you for salvation on the last day.

The point is that her appointment was because of her connections or works with politicians, not because of Oyedepo's prayer. Just as her works or connection with politicians led to her suspension now. But she wrongly or hypocritically said Oyedepo's prayer is responsible for the appointment.
