To be sincere the bringing down Jonathan's government was purely politics. The real karma is that he has nobody to blame for his relative lack of success and has been forced to be humble. I got so angry hearing that, so he clearly knew Buhari was bad for Nigerians yet he didn't care and even supported his reelection.
