Anyone who wants to survive what is coming should just get a land and plant and grow his or her own food!
These things all happening economically are endtime signs.
We are all heading to that last man's examination in the name of one world economy.
No man will be able to buy or sell unless they have the MARK OF THE BEAST 666!!!
THE mark with various names currently now eg chip, neurolink ,etc will be used against those who don't have the MARK.

Cardoso said, “In 1980, our import expenditure stood at $16.65bn, while our exports amounted to $25.97bn, resulting in a surplus of $9.32bn. Thus, during that year, we managed to fulfil the demand for dollars from our existing supply and still had over $9bn in surplus. In such a situation, the exchange rate (the value of the US Dollar) would not increase because, similar to any commodity, its supply surpassed its demand.

Lofty ideas, but you omitted Fulani herdsmen. Until you tackle that menace, sorry, your lofty dreams will never actualise. Ghana has more potential to achieve them. Even with the peace and security there, she and Ivory Coast haven't been able to go anywhere. But at least, they do well in cultivation and eventual export.

it's a case of a misplaced priority. Imagine my friend collected first Ajo, she went to register in a gym, this is someone that doesn't have an accommodation and sleeps in the office.

Gym is a marketplace.

You see that accommodation? She will get it before June this year.

Make do with whatever you assume this to be. cheesy

being:

That's the thing- a good number of food items still have fx component... we still import frozen chicken, fish, flour, palm oil, raw sugar and rice. Even some of our beans comes from d country- Niger... Now, the poultry farms in the country make use of feeds that are mostly imported. Also, diesel is the fuel that trucks use to transport the locally grown foods from the North, farms to the markets.. Diesel in the North is upward N1,300 today

Which is why subsidy should have been removed earlier as GEJ wanted in 2012 so that the monies would have gone into rail transport criss-crossing the north and south. But darling kwarruption pighter did train to Maradi. grin

I haven't mentioned Fulani herdsmen issue o. shocked

Fulani herdsmen would lay siege to all the nysc mega farms

Fulani herdsmen would stop all farmers in the south of Nigeria from going to their farms

Really how many are even fulani by ethnicity in contrast to the millions of other tribes living in Nigeria

They are insignificant in the grande scheme of things

Nigeria lacks vision to use the fertile land to grow itself out of POVERTY

everyone is looking for oil and refined oil

Even the pointless Dan gote refinery after it was built it was later revealed it will still need to import the same crude oil to refine

What a waste

Nigeria leave oil alone

Grow what is easy and what you have always done just before you got cursed with oil

Yes it’s boring growing bananas tomotaoes etc

It’s not about boredom it’s about effectiveness as to how forex can be easily earned

Ivory Coast and Ghana do not have as much arable farming land as Nigeria

Both countries do not also have the NYSC scheme where major exportation mobilisation can be done overnight

These countries don’t have Nigeria population too

They can only be trying their best

The message is clear for who has ears to listen tho

Dollar will go to 5,000 naira to 1 dollar one da unless Nigeria diversifies

Till then

This is unrealistic anyway. So, I wonder why you are emphasising it is possible. Moreover, government entities should not operate businesses. Certainly not Nigerian government entities.

Fulani herdsmen would stop all farmers in the south of Nigeria from going to their farms

Yes na. They did demoralise many would-be farmers and even propelled the exit of one of the country's biggest rice farmers. See my thread, which graced the FP: https://www.nairaland.com/7723312/nigerian-kidnap-gangs-drive-big-time Do you farm more than Rotimi Williams?

Really how many are even fulani by ethnicity in contrast to the millions of other tribes living in Nigeria

It is not the numbers, but influence. Fulanis are the alpha ethnic group in Nigeria and wider West Africa.

They are insignificant in the grande scheme of things

This is an ignorant take. Thoroughly ignorant! So, the continuous abduction of farmers by Fulani terrorists across the North Central is insignificant? What about the continuous butchering of farmers in Plateau, Nasarrawa, Benue, Zamfara etc?

Nigeria lacks vision to use the fertile land to grow itself out of POVERTY

everyone is looking for oil and refined oil

People invested their hard-earned money during the twilight of GEJ's tenure and early years of Buhari's first tenure only to battle with herdsmen which wrecked across the country.

Even the pointless Dan gote refinery after it was built it was later revealed it will still need to import the same crude oil to refine

Because your darling Buhari did nothing to stop the continuous crude oil theft in the region. I called him your darling because I am cocksure you campaigned and voted for Buhari in 2015. People who evade the Fulani herdsmen aspect are guilty of having campaigned and voted for the incompetent feudalist in 2015.

It’s not about boredom it’s about effectiveness as to how forex can be easily earned

We currently earn money via the export of agro-commodities, but we can earn more if farmers are allowed to farm in peace, not pieces.

Ivory Coast and Ghana do not have as much arable farming land as Nigeria

Agreed, but they have relative peace and security which promotes stability and attracts investment.

Both countries do not also have the NYSC scheme where major exportation mobilisation can be done overnight

NYSC farms would never work. The government should not be involved in business. Why should the government own farms in the first place?

God's blessings are unquantifiable.

I've never earned as big as I'm earning now. Almost by 400% more. I've recorded many positives, many growth in this Tinubu era.

I didn't vote in the last elections. In fact, I've voted only once in my life; that was when I just turned 18 and that was many years ago.

I'm not a politician. I'll never do politics in Nigeria cause it's dirty; so my earnings are not in any way political.

But you see what they call God's grace, it's enriching more than anything.

His Grace will avail for you.

Why should the government own farms in the first place?

Government can own farms just the way government owns NNPC

You run it so it’s easier to run

It’s a business

Just like any other business

Fulani herdsmen can’t stop a government who has a 10 billion dollars budget on security

Fulani herdsmen are a bunch of rag tag with an 47. They would not stop a really serious government of dealing with them

Have you ever asked how come Fulani herdsmen don’t come near Lagos, Bennin, Owerri, Imo and some states where the indigenes have block heads

Even BH that time that had armoured tanks and were busy seizing territory where are they now

NYSC mega farms the best idea ever

A government can run a business on behalf of rhe citizens of a state and earn income for and on behalf of that state , it’s called socialism in some countries , the opposite being liberalism or capitalism

If you want dollar to be of equal value of the equivalent naira or naira worth

Everyone knows what to do
