Best wishes for us. Certainly, they said NFF consulted Mourinho too and he had say in choice of Peseiro. I started following football in 1986 long before Mou dreamed of becoming a coach, Jose Mourinho first coaching job was at Porto, at that time Jose Peiseiro was with Real Madrid as assistant coach, in 2005 he was made coach of Sporting Lisbon while Mourinho was at Chelsea.
In 2006 Peiseiro moved to Al-Hilal before taking over as the national team manager of Saudi Arabia.
He has never worked under Mourinho, Rui Faria was always Mourinho assistant except for Inter Milan where Baresi was his assistant.
