Re: Social Media Regulation; "We Go Change-am For Your Government" - Isaac Fayose by Savedday2: 2:35pm On Feb 12
The army should shoot at sight anyone/group constituting nuisance anywhere in the country in the name of protest or complaining or hunger.

Am of the opinion that we all unite and vote in the most incompetent candidate in the next election. This is so that, the price of fuel should be increased to let say 10k per liter and dollar 16k per dollar. By such all the weak will die off.

Then the remaining people alive will understand that hunger know no tribe nor religion.

With this Nigeria will be a better place.

Over the social media, APC used lies, deceit and propaganda to frustrate Jonathan's government, replacing him with a mannequin.

Now, they want to regulate the same social media because they fear it's a powerful tool for galvanizing the citizens to protest against their maladministration. Funny bunch grin

They are not a funny bunch.
These are Islamists preparing for Talibanization of Nigeria.
If not, how could persons who lived for years in the US not know that criticism and democracy go hand in hand?

Can they regulate social media really? Nigeria is not a one-room classroom o. It means they want to arrest all the bloggers.

So far I don't think Nigerians post anything out of the ordinary. Visit some foreign social media platforms, you will admit that ours is mostly full of jokes. grin

Government of misfit for the misfits defending them online.

They rode on the waves of social media to get to power, now they want to regulate social media.
They called Jonathan unprintable names, now they have not even been called out as much as Jonathan
Is that what people are saying?
If things are going fine, would they complain?

The senators are servants of the people, they are there because of the people. It's a shame that the people's representative in government is same people that want to take away our rights.
