It's a very painful moment for the family losing both son, his wife and son. May God console them.

I still this man and his family death isn't ordinary. There is just this uncanny feeling I have towards the whole thing.

They flew at a very bad time. There has been bad weather all week especially this winter season.

Last January I was to be at a mandatory company on-site work in Michigan. I had bought my ticket and was to fly that evening. I canceled my flight and told them I can't risk my life in a snow storm.

Nobody dared question me further. I no dey take my life play gamble. If something happen, I will be quickly replaced in one month.

You don't fly helicopters in bad weather, it's suicidal. Planes are way safer. Helicopters are just way too fragile in bad winds with poor visibility.

This is still surreal to me tbh.

My condolences again go to the entire Wigwe family of Isiokpo in Ikwereland and the Ogunbanjo family. They left footprints in the sands of time.

Cancelling your flight was the right decision.

Herbert Wigwe's Special Assistant, Faleye Olusola allegedly escaped that copter crash in the Mojave desert simply because he chose to go to Nevada by road for the Superbowl finals because of the bad weather conditions that night. Any discerning person would do the same based on predictable or logical sequence of events in the past with regards to copter (and even light aircraft) accidents.

I just got an UPDATE that he (Faleye Olusola) went by road because the copter could NOT take all the luggage they came with. The original story about him declining to fly because of the bad weather was reported on multiple online channels within 2 hours of that copter crash. Fact-checks are very important.
