It is obvious you don't have enough knowledge of that area-kwara state. Yoruba is the major ethnic in Kwara. Out of the 16 local govts in the state, 14 are yoruba, so there's nothing like 'removing some Yoruba speaking', as you suggest. Rather it is those minority non Yoruba.

Back to the topic: that bill can never see the light of day. It would be thrown away like washing hand water.

Yes. The multiplicity of states is one of the reasons Nigeria is poor.

This clearly shows the lawmaker is doesn't not know the procedure in creating state in Nigeria. It is very clear by the constitution on the process and procedures. Ignorant people everywhere.

Yet, no Igbo lawmaker has had the wisdom to initiate this. But later, they'll cry out that Nigeria is marginalizing them.

Just from reading the headlines, I initially assumed it would be about the Igbo community.
