The introduction of this bill shows that our leaders are living in denial. They don't seem to know what is happening in the country or they pretend not to know. So upon all the hardship that has befallen the people, what is of topmost interest to this legislator is creation of more states? At a time when their is a general clamour for us to reduce the cost of governance. Until the masses take to the streets and anarchy befalls us before these jokers will face reality.

Our ultimate goal should be scaling down to just 6 federal zones and their respective local government units. We should be growing local governments without the encumbrances of multiple state units, to force meaningful development closer to the people across board.

Dead On Arrival, the lawmaker is a jester, he knows no bill as this will ever be passed into law, but when he has nothing tangible to contribute in the house, he will raise this kind of bill to prove he's doing something for his constituency and zone. It will be difficult if not impossible to create any more states with the hurdles thrown in the process by the constitution. Even creating additional local government is almost impossible talk less of states. The LGAs created by some states are not even recognized by the constitution and they are there for administrative purposes
