Foolish government! How can you control the price of food when the currency is constantly losing value and people cannot farm without fear of Fulani herders and kidnappers attacking them?

Consumer protections board must be functional. There is a reason there is a federal government, federal government officials are not there to chop free money. Citizens must be protected otherwise private companies form caucus and place exploitative prices on goods. FG is not performing at all. Why do we have an economic minister, FG, if IMF dictates economic policies to us all the time. It's a shame.

Tinubu's administration is a disaster

β€’ You go appoint a Banker, Bayo Adelabu wey na monetary matter him know about all him life as Minister for Power.

Sadly, under Bayo, national grid done collapsed more than 8 times within 8 months, and Megawats don drop patapata from 2,000Mw to 450Mw. Sotey some Discos dey receive Zero Mw.

β€’ You appoint an information (media) guru, Dele Alake as Minister of Mines. Person wey every Nigeria know say na talk him sabi talk.
Nothing dey mine nau.

β€’ You carry a whole trillionaire wey get many companies both home and abroad, Atiku Bagudu take do Minister for Budget & Planning.
Wetin him want plan past him business and political empire.

β€’ You appoint tax collectors and commercial bankers, Wale Edun and Yemi Cardoso as Minister of Finance and Central Bank Governor as if you know dey this country wen Obasanjo spent millions of dollars to get technocrats like Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala and Charles Soludo to help his government stabilize the economy and financial sector.
Kemi Adeosun and Sanusi Lamidi Sanusi also did their best under Jonathan and Buhari's government.

Meanwhile, Adams Oshiomhole warned the Senate make dem no approve appointment of commercial bankers like Cardoso to handle monetary policy of the country.

β€’ You appoint boyfriend and girlfriend, Olubunmi Tunji-Ojo and Beta Edu as Minister of Interior and Humanitarian Affairs. But later sacrificed Beta for Tunji-Ojo wey the entire world know say he follow chop inside Betagate scandal.

β€’ You still come appoint your younger brother, Isiaka Adegboyega Oyetola wey fail woefully as a sitting Governor sotey him opponent defeat am take do Minister for Marine & Blue Economy.
Person wey no know anything about marine sotey the blue economy sef don turn to black economy.

Economy team or federal executive council no be for political patronage or compensation at all.

I swear, Tinubu don put everything and everybody in Nigeria for reverse.

Poverty is the root of insecurity, tackle that and all.these menace will breeze away

People say this because they hate poor people. The 'insecurity' is coming for people with high calibre imported weapons. Poor Nigerians can barely buy a bag of garri

Wow! Regulate the price of what you don't supply? Dead on arrival. This Tinubu was never prepared for the presidential position he campaigned for.
The laws have provisions for that, the nation has consumers protection board...they can regulate from whole sale/production level, and the reduction will trickle down. Don't be a lazy head... government can meet farmers board dialogue with them and instruct them against exploitative prices, government can meet manufacturing union, as well as major importers.

Do you people have FG there for nothing?

At least let them work for all the big money they chop.
Falana took FG to court on this issue, and the judge ordered FG to intervene, it's provisions are there in the constitution...this is why FG is intervening... Nigerians be wise, don't talk for talking sake, sarcasms or oversabi, this is not time for jokes, if you don't understand keep quiet, don't use your bad talk spoil things for the movement.

The law provides for consumers protection...it's very easy for an efficient government to achieve... don't conclude on things you don't understand.

It's too late.

Farmers in the Northern part of the country are already stockpiling food and selling it to neighboring Niger in secret.

They claim that it's business, and they hope to turn a profit.

The overrated buffoon Tinubu and his Efulefu gang got off to a bad start.
the problem is this current government can lie to people who already know you are lying, they will slogans when they don't have plans to do anything. You want to regulate wetin you don't own, they're killing farmers in the bush, you can't protect them, fuel to transport farm products is on the rise by you, you pack all the budget put for pocket, and you want to tell farmers what to sell his own goods, no be Weyrey government be this abeg

The producer of rice for example will be forced to sell at a government price but goes to buy cement to build house at N1000 per bag. Doesn't work that way.
Government without concrete plans.

Godfullsam:
You can't force anyone to sell his/her product at your desired rate in an open market.

The govt. should revert to cashless policy as soon as possible and begin to tactically mop up the excess money already in circulation.

Everyone should brace up for this year's planting season, each house hold should plant something..

Planting something ...
With cutlasses and hoes...
Ko le work... Bros grin cheesy
FG need to provide incentives in terms of
Land Access.. Loans, Modern tools... Improved Seeds... Transport Logisitcs
Eliminating Middlemen Cabals, Guaranteed Mkt Access and price...Security against Herdsmen... etc
Its a whole lot of work along the agric value chain...
