Foolish government! How can you control the price of food when the currency is constantly losing value and people cannot farm without fear of Fulani herders and kidnappers attacking them? |

Consumer protections board must be functional. There is a reason there is a federal government, federal government officials are not there to chop free money. Citizens must be protected otherwise private companies form caucus and place exploitative prices on goods. FG is not performing at all. Why do we have an economic minister, FG, if IMF dictates economic policies to us all the time. It's a shame. 1 Like |

onuman:The laws have provisions for that, the nation has consumers protection board...they can regulate from whole sale/production level, and the reduction will trickle down. Don't be a lazy head... government can meet farmers board dialogue with them and instruct them against exploitative prices, government can meet manufacturing union, as well as major importers. Do you people have FG there for nothing? At least let them work for all the big money they chop. Falana took FG to court on this issue, and the judge ordered FG to intervene, it's provisions are there in the constitution...this is why FG is intervening... Nigerians be wise, don't talk for talking sake, sarcasms or oversabi, this is not time for jokes, if you don't understand keep quiet, don't use your bad talk spoil things for the movement. The law provides for consumers protection...it's very easy for an efficient government to achieve... don't conclude on things you don't understand. 1 Like 1 Share |
