Funny enough I am seeing the hand of God in this
This is because BAT is just being exposed and disgraced not just as being grossly incompetent, but for being hypocritical because same subsidy he rallied against GEJ,claimed does not exist, but is not only going behind the back to pay, after having stupidly floated the ₦ at the same time, but is now paying at least double what other presidents ever paid.
Who says God doesn't exist indeed!

Life is a seed. What you sow is what you reap.

Jonathan was God sent , we rejected him.

Am really sorry for Tinubu bcs things are not just working for him. I am one of those that believed he will be better than Buhari at least but honestly am DISAPPOINTED.

It may not be his fault BUT LET HIM LEAVE ETHNICITY AND GO FOR GOOD HANDs, BEG GOOD HANDS TO JOIN YOUR GOVT TO PROPAGANDIST LIKE RENO.

Governance is different from politics. He may be guru in politics and not guru in governance

Ending the subsidy was the biggest blunder Tinubu committed and floating Naira killed it all.

There's no government in the world that doesn't subsidize energy for their people inone way or the other.

And Nigerian government has in the past kept selling to Nigerians the fallacy that government has no business in doing business instead of them to cub corruption which is the bane of our problem but they kept a blind eyes because they're the biggest beneficiary of corruption.

Crisis loading. I don't think he can increase fuel again. Dangote Refinery can't help because the Naira is depreciating. He has boxed himself into a tight corner all by his careless speech. Let us wait and see what happens.

That is the problem with subsides.

They grow and grow until they dwarf the budget. And become hungry monsters

Gej knew that, that's why he wanted to remove it. Tinubu did not see then. Now he sees.

Either Nigerians like it or not, this illusive government and the power that rules this world will bring it down to anarchy. Return to the Most High Yahuah before it's too late.

Yoruba people do things before they start thinking.
"Subsidy is gone".
What a shame to a senseless Leader who do things without consultations.
Is a big shame to the world over....,

I suggest we stop the subsidy and import food instead. People can barely feed so who uses the petrol? Our neighbors(imaginary and real) of course.

When will the stupid empty white haired dumb prof wole Soyinka come out to save Nigeria like he did in 2014 abii na because say Tinubu na Yoruba man?
I'm beginning to feel God is avenging for GEJ cos you can't make this shit up lol.
Removed subsidy only to end up paying double the amount that was paid. Pst Adeboye might be right about Nigeria needing spiritual intervention at this point cos wtf!
Nigerians should organize a 3 days apology to GEJ and patience. Una offend innocent Man. Awolowo will be very disappointed in Yoruba people for bringing a drug dealing lout like Tinubu to represent the SW after giving them free education.

You can't remove petrol subsidy and devaluation Niara at the same time. That is a bad move.

Let's assume subsidy was remove and naira wasn't devaluated.....Will the situation be as worse as this?

Over to you economist....want to hear your thoughts on this? undecided

I think it’s high time we employ foreign hands to help us manage our economy better. Because seriously we've tried people back home, but there is no result to be seen. Let's employ foreign hands just for 8yrs and let's see the results.

Democracy is a disaster. when it fails, it leads to so much chaos and hopelessness that one would begin to nurse the ideas that the military would be a better option. This is borderline nonsense. People just hold positions for the sake of personal gains and offer nothing absolutely. What a mockery
