They can’t see past religion and tribe.
Anyone who says it’s long due to have an Igbo president is ethnic centric.
By the way, we have over 300 tribes and our constitution says nothing about rotation of presidency based on tribe.
Qualification should be the only criteria to rule.
I don’t mind if one tribe rules over and over again as long as Nigeria is governed as it should be.
The hate and division in Nigeria was born and nursed to maturity from one region. it has now become a communicable disease that has long become an endemic.

You failed to mention how the coup was biased. Chukwuma carried out a coup resulting in the death of people from various regions, with those from the Eastern region remaining unharmed. Nnamdi Azikiwe, had prior knowledge of what was to happen, left the country and acted like he didn’t know anything about it. What chukwuma did by being sectional in the bloody coup and Nnamdi Azikiwe’s leaving the country to let it happen served as a catalyst for a subsequent counter coup. why leave that one out? is it that you don’t know the history or you deliberately left it out to show your bias? |
