When Oshiomhole was Governor first term, Ize Iyamu was the NATIONAL VICE-CHAIRMAN (SOUTH SOUTH) OF ACN/APC until he discovered Oshiomhole wasn't going to hand over to him as agreed, so Iyamu decamped to PDP.

Oshiomhole was brought in from Labour Party to ACN/APC because he was a Popular LABOUR Leader. The REAL POLITICKING was done by Iyamu and other leaders of ACN/APC.

Iyamu and other leaders of ACN were the people that TAUGHT Oshiomhole PRACTICAL POLITICS and Campaigned for him to Win. They taught Oshiomhole that LABOUR POLITICS is very different from GENERAL POLITICS.

When Oshiomhole was elected Governor, he automatically became the LEADER of the party in Edo State according to the constitution of the party.

I am not totally convinced about Okpebholo but Denco clearly should not have been declared winner in those very flawed and shameful primaries.

I think him being Ẹdo Central will split Esan votes and APC will win North and South so well played by APC.
