The So called Ijaws in Akwa Ibom occupies just a clan in Eastern Obolo.
The arrogance of few misguidrd Ijaws will lead to their Expulsion from the entire waterways in Akwa Ibom.
Akwa Ibom is an hospitable state where you will find Gabonese,Gjanians Equatorians,Cameroonians,Igbos,Yoruba's,Hausas and other Nationalities from and Outside Nigeria but this Ijaws guys are claiming what is not.
I trust the Oron people to decisively resend on them and drive them away.

Seun and Mynd44, do you both verify information before putting it out there?

This information is false. There are no Ijaw LGAs in Akwa Ibom to begin with. Only 2 with Ijaw history - Ibeno and Eastern Obolo who have al but wiped it.

Nobody should worry Akwa Ibom people ooh. We have a very long tie relationship history together. That's why we marry them without a second thought when we find love there.

WE THE IGBOS WILL ALWAYS PROTECT and DEFEND AKWA IBOM WITH OUR LAST BLOOD AGAINST THE ENEMIES ANYTIME and ANYDAY. know this and know peace!

THEY ARE LIKE NATO MEMBERS TO THE IGBOS. We will love and always protect them with even our last blood. We can even quarrel as usual, but is always just like husband n wife matter.👍👍👍

The 7 Ijaw LGAs under INC, LINO and IYC are
Eastern Obolo,
Ibeno
Urue/Offong/
Oruko
Mbo
Oron
Okobo

ATTENTION THE WHOLE WORLD

This is what is happening right now!

These are Eket boys numbering over one thousand conducting a total barricade of the only access road to and from Ibeno Local Government Area.

We received intelligence report about this yesterday night and sent out warnings about the impending problem, but we also advised our youths in Ibeno to stay vigilant but remain calm.

The Ekid people of Eket and Esit Eket, according to reports, are demanding that the remapping law surreptitiously signed by Udom Gabriel Emmanuel few days before leaving office last May be implemented. The evil remapping law was aimed at creating routes in order to bring Eket, Esit Eket, Onna, Mkpat Enin, which are completely hinterland local government areas, to border on the coast so that they can take benefits of the Petroleum Industry Act and the proceeds which accrue to oil producing communities therefrom.

Reports have it that these same scenarios are replicated both in Eket and Esit Eket Local Government Areas. By this multiple actions, the youths of Eket and Esit Eket are in collusion to barricade all the possible road access to Ibeno Local Government Area. Boys numbering well over one hundred from Edor in Esit Eket have moved towards Ibeno and are threatening to overrun Upenekang, the headquarters of Ibeno Local Government Area. Considerable restraint has been placed on the youths of Ibeno to remain calm in the face of this aggressive attack.

For months now, I have been reporting the various secret meetings by prominent members of Eket and Esit Eket Local Government Areas to perfect the devilish plans to enter and cause mayhem in Ibeno. This is the beginning of the manifestations of those secret meetings.

The people who are doing this are given impetus by some top ranking politicians from Eket and Esit Eket Local Government Areas. Some of these politicians hold high political offices in the government of Akwa Ibom State. They seem to be romping around.
What is actually the cause of the fight?

The Igbos will instead resolve the matter, you think we would allow the nonsense you allow in the north where fulanis kill the minority over there.?

Chairman, the last thing the igbos should do, is watch our only cousins get genocide by some other tribe, especially one that ......

Hausas will not let other tribes, especially minority tribes have an advantage over fulanis. Case closed.

We should urge for peace, but should be ready to dish pieces.

I write as a minority and I must say, we minorities don't like ourselves,

Even if the country divides, we minorities will have more problem than being in a united Nigeria

Ijaw, Urhobos, ibibio, ibani , Ogba, Isoko, Ishekiri, etc ...the oil is located in our various soil and water...can't we be united and take our resources back from the Fulani's and the westerners

There are no Ijaws in Akwa Ibom. Whatever violence is happening there should be between the indigenous people. Any Ijaw found there is an intruder.

The problem with you people is you don't know that Yorubaa blood look a certain way that most Easterners can single them out. We know who is real easterner and who is fake by looks. Sowore is a Yorubaa man carved into Ijaw from Ondo by Obasanjo. In their bid to give Yorubaa oil status, they just draw line that suits them.

You do know that the Ilajes, while in Ondo State have an affinity to the Ijaws right? Right?
