Waste of funds!

1. Mortuary services: Millions!
2. Transport Services! Millions!
3. Burial Services: Millions!
4. Even Caskets: Millions!

All will turn to dust!

Modified!

What about doing a low-key burial and sending the funds to a particular orphanage or feeding prisoners, etc.!

As someone just said..is it my funds?

You expect him to be buried like a nobody?

If it's easy to make money, make it and give it to orphanage's

No need to cherish luxuries 'cause everythin' come and go
Even the life that you have is borrowed
'Cause your not promised tomorrow
So live your life as if everyday's goin' be your last
Once you move forward can't go back
Just prepare to remove your past
'Cause ya gotta be willin' to pray
Yes, there gotta be, there gotta be a better way

You have someone who is willing to give you 5 million naira in this present economy and the person asks you to choose between using the money to sponsor your education in a PRIVATE university for 5 years or use the money to start up any business of your choice. Assuming you are in your early 20's say 20-23 and considering the current situation of things in Nigeria, which of these options would you pick and why?

Do you want to hear the truth and nothing but the truth?

Then listen.

Education is not a guarantee of a good job after.
Na for Nigeria we carry certificate put for head.
So after going to the university and graduating , what next? You come out and be competing with other graduates from both private , federal and state universities for the scarcely existing jobs?

For the business ish, you are not guaranteed success in this present day Nigeria. Existing businesses are packing up, they are not finding it easy. The clime is stiffening.

What is guaranteed is what you can do by yourself, running your own show.
And these can be either
1. Entertainment:
Here focus on content creation on SM (Social media) - YouTube, Tiktok, Instagram, Facebook.
Get monetized and start earning guaranteed monthly earnings.
This is your bit of the global cake domiciled on the web space.
2. Tech.
There are many digital skills you can learn to start chopping from the tech oiyel money.
If you are still young , I would suggest front end, back end programming , web development, DEVOPS, data analysis, UI/UX design,

3. Digital Business
You can as well consider e commerce similar to Jumia, Konga, jiji, AliExpress.

You can use the dropshipping model.

You can invest in a good Phone / camera.
Then partner with different offline businesses, bring them online.
By taking good shots of their goods and upload on your sites.
Once you get an order, go pick it up and ship to the customer.

Actually there is money in TRADING. Buying and selling.
But don't make the mistake of stocking those goods yourself. Well except you are ready for the ups and downs of pricing.

If you have to stock goods, then start with mini importation from China.
Go on Facebook search for "Above Rubies" join her WhatsApp group. Study her model.
Then key in.

You can as well learn currency trading
- Forex
- Cryptocurrency
If you choose this, this is my advice. Spend money to register with a good trader in the state where you are.
Pay for mentorship.
Understudy him just like apprenticeship.
Then once you are good enough, use small money buy funded account. Don't you ever use your own cash.
With $50-500, you can get a funded account of between $10,000 to , $100,000. With the help of your mentor, you can pass the challenge easily. Start trading under his guidance and calls. Profit sharing is 60:40 or 70:30 with you taking the higher % and the lower % for the funding company.

If you are thinking of tech and you are in Lagos , please look for ALX Academy. Make a choice of one of their programs, bury your head inside it and start doing wonders.

Or you can look for serious & efficient boot camp. Network, pick a mentor who would help you navigate the terrain quite well with the requisite support.

Will it be easy,NO
Don't expect it to be.
But be serious about it.
Be passionate about it.
Be highly determined.

Above all, seek the face of God to direct you.
And ensure you venture into what you are passionate about.

God's speed.

Okay!

Most of those coming for the 6 days burial would be the elites and not the less privileged!

Even those payments above will be enjoyed more by the elites! Only a paltry will trickle down to the masses!
Why not focus on the poor directly?

Just saying!
let the poor breev

Na poor them poor, them no kill anybody shey the employment opportunities or money the low income earners dey make dey vex you? At least there'll be a trickle down effect in the food chain when people spend money on burial ceremonies

I'll be shocked not to see this get over a 100 Likes.
As an Igbo man that did not grow up in a business home (white-collar ish), I love business but I have really struggled to get a grip on exactly what to do.
Yet, the digital business thing seems to be a good idea.

And last last, you're correct.
The need for God to give direction is sacrosanct.

Thanks.

Both of them led separate successful lives and businesses. I am sure it is their business concerns that chose to do it this way.

It could be inconvenient to eulogize both in one event which may not afford enough time and opportunity to their individual families and business concerns to present whatever they have.

Alright

Not only was he attending City of David, he was the Chairman of the building committee of the Parish and a personal friend of the Pastor's family.

Less than 8 days after his death, the Pastor's wife celebrated a flamboyant birthday in the Parish and had Flavor in attendance, insensitive to the mourning of the parish and family.

Oh I get it now.

Is there's any part of them or any of their remains that will be in the casket, this is a big question cos according to the video, pictures and updated news of the chopper crash everything was burned in the inferno to ashes ⚱️ and the chopper crashed head down which means all the parts of the chopper with everyone in it merged together in the inferno. So, I now wonder what will be in the casket or is it a case of an empty casket symbolic burial ❓
