Finally one Yoruba permanent secretary...

And there is a reason why this is a news. 😂
you can't be a permanent secretary without being a civil servant for decades. So it is more indicative of tolerance than political appointment that you sparingly give to Igbos that have much more economic stake in LAGOS than you have anywhere in Igboland.

God bless you. Unfortunately, the PDP has not been fair to them by not always finding them capable or for whatever reason, to be presented as presidential candidate.

Peter obi never appointed any body from other regions not even from the Eastern states. He said anambara money is meant for anambaras alone

Our neigbours and brothers from the East are the true Definition of one Nigeria. They voted massively for Obasanjo, yaradua, GEJ .

When it is time to employ and vote for them, the tribalist and their haters call them Ipob

Continue to deceive yourself. Voting for OBI by Igbos is like voting for Kalu or Uzodinma. Why don't you ask yourself why they only voted for fake Yorubas while they voted against the best like Awolowo? If you don't know history please keep away

Sometimes I really worry when we accuse people of not tolerating others not minding whether those people are ready or not

At a point in this country, many other tribes controlled Shell and NNPC in warri and Port Harcourt particularly the Yorubas and Hausas. How many of them had properties or investments in those areas?

You need to check first whether those people are are ready to leave their areas just the Igbos do?

I have interacted with the Igbos so much that I see that I see them like any other tribe in Nigeria with their positive and negative side just like my own tribe.

Profiling is our major challenge.

The truth is
quote author=malali post=128848314]We will not overcome prejudice and bigotry till we see ourselves as Nigerians first

The biggest accusation against the south east is their tolerance of foreigners.

Nobody trusts a man that doesn't have friends outside his tribe.

If you want to go fast, go alone. If you want to go far go in a group.

Why is this news ? Because the South East is the least tolerant to foreigners. FACT ! In the whole of Nigeria.

Thats why this made the news.

The first time ever and igbo governor will be doing this.
Kudos to soludo.

Yoruba ronu movement is finally making igbos open their conservative region.

Everyone must enjoy one Nigeria. One Nigeria is not for Yorubas alone.

No more coming to south west to be whatever you wanna be but in your region, not offering a south Westerner the same opportunity.

This is commendable and we, the Yoruba, deserve more for the many decades of injustice against the Yoruba who have called Igboland home. It's an appeal to all the Governors of South East, you need to do more . You can do more than just one permanent secretary position in Anambra state.

This is what we have been advocating for. The current system is skewed against the Yoruba, it's unjust and not sustainable. To fix it will require reciprocity. Below is the objective analysis of it in this article

And who were the PDP candidates? Can you name them?

They even voted for umaru musa yar'adua of PDP, when their son Ojukwu was on the ballot with APGA.

Meanwhile, it's on record that Ronu only votes for anything that Carries tinubu's imprint.

It has to be news because it has not happened before.
Yet same people are shamelessly begging Niger governor, sokoto governor, lagos governor, etc to give them posts.

These people need to have some shame before people see them finish because people will not take it easy with them once they found out that they are trying to play over their intelligence in a very foolish way

Who is begging, apart from political jobbers cum one robbers most igbos are business men no time for nonsense so i wonder who the beggers.

Soludo is getting ready to change the narrative. This is what south west has been doing. Non Yorubas are in all fields of endeavor including public service in the south west.

Well done Soludo, unlike that squirrel that sent none Anambra Ibos out of the public Service of the state.

Kudos to Soludo.

You think the man was just employed today, that he didnt grow in rank through the system for so many years. You dey learn. The Managing director of Enugu Broadcasting Service na Yoruba Man. Abeg bring list for Igbo man as a direct in OYO or Ekiti, Evn the Lagos kpakpa make we check something.

Only one yoruba while 99% are igbos. No other tribe appointed.

This is pure marginalisation of other tribes.

We have qualified Northerners in Anambra civil service.

We have people from Rivers, Akwa ibom, cross River, Benue, Delta, Bayelsa.

Yet all the appointments are all igbos.

Where is the one Nigeria.

A shame

Funny comment, very possible that you have never been to the east in your life. All those multinationals down east are run by your people nobody is making a fuse about it. I did work with one and your people where littered there and is no problem 4 us. Politics in nigeria is a dream killer That is why regions that have tasted more power suffers the most.

Wale Edun, the current minister of finance, recently confirmed it.

The beauty of been sincere is that everyone makes stupid assumptions about one's ethnicity. Who are the 'your' people you are referring to?

In a free and fair election but lack political antenna required to see well before voting.

Imagine, Orji uzor kalu would have been the Senate President today considering his closeness to Tinubu and his sacrifice for the party.

But he supported Lawan and even when Lawan lost at the primary, he still doesn't know he needed to accept his fate and reconcile with Tinubu.

Akpabio was more clever and so he's there today as Senate President.

It is very dumb to claim that a region that is spread across the whole nation with investment more than any other region is not open. That is a very stupid assumption unless there is another meaning to been open that is yet to be ascertained.
