Don't depend on oil money to pay your state police,

Generate your revenue every state and pay your state police from there.

Governor Seyi is wrong here. Unfortunately, some people only need the view of a politician to activate their ignorance on security, economic and social-political issues.

When the FG negotiated with NLC and made a Unilateral decision on Minimum wage in the past @ N30k, how many states were able to pay the minimum wage to their workers? Some states Governors were even blaming the FG for deciding on behalf of the states without taking into consideration the financial capacity of each state of the federation in determining the Minimum wage..

Now, an opportunity has been given to each state governor to submit a memorandum on the Architecture of the state police based on the peculiarities of each state, He called it a waste of time. What a statement from "The Chief Security Officer" of a State?

How is the National Economic Council relates to the creation of the state police?
the Governors ,President and other present stake holders ("The economic council" )) are to collaborate on the way forward how state police can be done. This beyonds enacting law from national assembly State must have inputs , local council , even the Kings and community leaders need to have input through states which will present their views and modality to the Federal government.

It's obvious you don't have a good understanding of the whole process
