Niger borrowed N17.85bn while Katsina borrowed N36.93bn within same period. The OP only extracted plateau own which wasn't even up to the 2 states mentioned above. Smh!

This 16 billion was borrowed to offset salaries of civil servants and gratuities owed by the out going n government. Mind you, the state civil servants were on strike before inauguration of the new government hence the need to borrow.

Those ones already over borrowed that many of them have been blacklisted. Many of them can't be allowed to borrow again until they pay their existing loans to certain levels

These governors are the most wicked people on earth.
They still borrowed despite huge allocations they received monthly.
Almighty God will destroy any of them converting state money to dollars and keep for his personal use in Jesus Name.
They are requesting for increase in the allocation, Asiwaju should please ignore them, unless the State Assemblies approve Local Government AUTONOMY.
They should go and learn from Otti in Abia State.

I'm from one of the states that have over borrowed now, the state was blacklisted under the two previous administrations because its monthly allocations and IGR couldn't sustain further borrowing.

I’m not holding brief for the Governor but you need Toto understand that the loan was gotten in the early days of the government and since then, he hasn’t collected any new loan. This is general knowledge except if you’re being sensational about it.
Why was Plateau state dragged when it’s not the state with the highest debt so far in this dispensation.

This news is clearly sponsored by the opposition in plateau state. Plateau state is not even among the top 5 states in terms of loan collection.
