Bade007: Offhead simply means without brain cells, which isn't possible. Your thinking faculty is on the head, so it can't be offhead rather offhand. |

Offhand, is used to describe something that is done without preparation or thought; improvised. The term “offhead” is not recognized as a standard word in English. If you meant to refer to recalling something from memory without needing to check, the phrase you might be looking for is "off the top of my head." |
