When you don't take safety as priority this is the consequences. We should take this as LFI Learning from incident. One thing people say is that we have being doing this for several years. Run when you hear that or intervene the best way you can.
Also I believed that they were the once who distracted the boat driver with all these their videos they were making. They were just catching cruise just to post on the social handles now they won't view the likes they wanted to see.

Avoidable Death

When Righteousness2 said it yesterday that someone should immediately lead him to christ and get him to say "Amen", all of you were laughing at him. I'm not a fan of that Righteousness2 guy, neither am I a fan of how he goes about fear-mongering on this forum. But in this case, I can say that he was right, and all of you who mocked him owe him an apology.

The boat looks too small and overcrowded.

Carelessness and unprofessionalism in all we do as a country.

This incident is enough to get every serious government to assess the quality of boats, certification of sailors (or whatever they are called), safety procedures on board, and other things concerned with boat transport in Nigeria. Afterwards, make stringent laws in the industry and implement them to the letter.

These were totally avoidable and needless deaths at least if they had the lifejackets on it would've kept them afloat till rescue operations came,I don't know why people should gamble with their lives in this manner.

There was no safety measures at all, just like our leaders they wait till the worse happens before they start running. Truly it’s from amongst the worse citizens we elect our leaders
