What is the capacity of the speedboat? Was it overloaded?

The issue of life jackets have been over-emphasized. Beyond life jackets, was the boat licensed to ply that river? Was the driver qualified to drive the boat? Did the engine fail? How exactly did the accident happen? Did the passengers panic and jump into the water? Was there a professional who explained safety rules to the passengers and when the emergency started, was there an expert to explain procedures to the passengers?

Then AGN too needs to take some steps. Various movie producers and executives produce movies using cost-cutting measures, compromising the lives of those on set. Was there a health and safety professional on set? Was there a medical personnel on set? First aid? Anyone trained on first aid?

For any movie shoot, the health and safety of everyone on set must be of primary concern and anyone who wants to be a producer must show that steps have been taken to ensure these.

The movie producer needs to go the police station if she has not done so.

Then the actions of those who messed up what was left of Junior Pope's life need not be discussed.

You should never travel on sea or any river without wearing a life jacket . It is called a life jacket for a reason , because your life might just depend on it . We shouldn't be superstitious about river Niger, there is nothing devilish about it

Safety Courses should be incorporated into Nigerian education system starting with Primary up to university level.

If not for HSSE, I won't have known about CPR, basic firefighting skills, first aid for snake bites, fainting etc....
