Congratulations

More flights ✈️ to embark on.

For the ear blocking probably you're close to the engine, the noise will make it seems like your air is blocking.

Experienced something like that anytime am flying, I just put on my airpod and jam to some music.

Maybe you are right... Just as if air is blocking my hearing.. Didn't take my airpod along

Amen to the prayers

Yea, that's how it is if you're closer to the engine.

Once you break a barrier, it is always easy to scale forward.

Before I took my first flight I always think a big stuff, but after taking my first flight have taken more than 5 more flights, all glory to God.

I'm surprised it's your first time flying and even being in delta state, prior, one would think you have been through the whole States of Nigeria. undecided

Scenario 1: plane ✈ going up... First I felt weak but I later align. I saw men like ants, I saw mansions like ant colony, I saw the 3rd mainland bridge and the oceans.
I went into the clouds πŸŒ₯, I stayed amongst the cloud πŸŒ₯, I went above the cloud πŸŒ₯. I saw the 5th heavens πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚. The plane looked slow in my sight but I'm sure it is not what I see it to be. It was as if something were blocking my ears, I had to dip my fingers in my ears.

Scenario 2: They gave us dwarf plastic water and snacks (though I was expecting vegetables and swallow πŸ˜‚) . As the moment of typing this 8.20am, I am above the clouds.. The cloud πŸŒ₯ feel so lonely πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚. I finished my snacks in 2 minutes (me wey be ebinna πŸ˜‚).

So it got to point I could not see anything again and the plane was shaking (Lord, hope this is not your call to home 😩). People were just sleeping and snoring, but as for me, Lagos boy, my eyes were wide open πŸ‘€πŸ‘€ (I can't be caught unaware)

Scenario 3: We are preparing for landing 8.36am. E be like say something dey block my ears again πŸ™„πŸ™„ and it's kinda heavy blocking. We are about landing 8.44am, cabin crew are instructed to sit and prepare for landing. I can see farmlands and scanty houses. Aeroplane wheels touched the ground 8 46 am. We got down from plane at 8.53am

Scenario 4: while I was in the sky, I remembered that iran has been firing bombs. I was praying they don't mistakenly fire one into Nigerian airspace while I am in the sky grin grin grin. I was just watching out from the window

Finally, that was how my flight trip to asaba went. This is my first time in delta state.

My nairaland fans in delta, Oya come and do meet and greet Γ³Γ²o πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚
This is just the beginning bro, you are going to many countries by God's grace.

Congratulations 🎊,

It good to experience it, my wife boarded a plane before me, when she went for NYSC in Kano, both to and fro, she was the one telling me the experience..

Later I got another job that needed me to be flying from one state to another for engagement, that was how I got my multiple experience too..

The last time I boarded a plane I saw hell with with Dana Air, there was bad weather, and we are almost close to Lagos airport πŸ›« when the pilot got a radio call that the weather is bad, so he was told to hang on, so he was just turning round the airport for like 30min, before the weather now got good for him to land, omo, I fear my village people that day...

Firstly, I am not ashamed to say this is my first time boarding a plane, I decided to support our own, one of the best carrier "Airpeace". I will board Airpeace whether local or international.. I will support her. Though the fee was quite high cry cry but we will always support her.

So I was opportuned to be chosen for an opportunity to go outside lagos for an assignment. Initially, I thought we will be going through a bus until I was called to send my ID card details for flight.

Mehnn, this is my first time of going to an airport to board a plane ✈. First time to seat in the lounge waiting to fly. First time typing from an airport about to board a plane.

Spoiler: I am scared.. I fear height so much.

Local me grin, I have never been shy of asking people anything I don't know..
My village people wan first catch me for my ID card.. They insisted my national ID is not clear enough which is true ( thanks to Nigeria ways of doing things basha basha), but as an intentional man, I brought another ID and they were still contemplating if it was me grin grin. HÑà village people wan carry me handicap on my first time to board a plane...

Later they cleared me, I still had to face another queue again, the one that surprised me most was when people were pulling off their shoes, Haaaaaaa wetin happen na? Why are we pulling our shoes Ε„a?
My village people whispered to me and said "Denrele, don't pull your shoe, go back home" and I replied them saying "Shut up village people, the God of Denrele rebuke you". grin grin grin

I humbled myself and I pulled my shoe, I kon dey waka with leg to go sit. We should have boarded our flight by 7 but it was announced that it will be delayed for 14 mins. 14 mins came and gone, nothing yet..

So we waited for about 1 hour than the departure. First time, I entered a plane ✈.. Jésù grin grin grin

Please am very sorry to post this here, I have health issues and am down financially pls help me with little amount
