The former minister, Professor Ali Isa Pantami, began tweeting that NCAIR was launched 4 years ago and that legacy is achieved not claimed.

He said thousands of Nigerians have benefited from it.

Let the former minister come out with a list of one thousand people who have benefited from NCAIR.

Why should the new minister try to claim glory for NCAIR that was established by his predecessor by claiming that he is 'relaunch'ing' it when all he needed to do is to improve and upgrade it, building on the foundation his predecessor already laid which is actually what he is doing anyway.

People need to learn not to take glory that rightly belongs to somebody else.

While Pantami was a fanatic, the man was a genius, extremely visionary, it will be very hard for someone to fill his shoes. I don't know why Nigerian despise their predecessors. His own case is quite special cos he was even criticising the former head of the ministry he now heads, it will be very easy to assess him based on his assertions in the past. Many people share biased ideas based on what they have read in the books and criticise based on it too, but find it difficult to perform ad much when saddled with that same duty.
Nigerian experts should try to be making practicable and progressive suggestions to people in power rather than outright criticism.
