XtraFortunes: Come on stop it. How can a whole federal government of a large nation refuse to build new roads until the old ones are fully repaired? If there were budgetary constraints I might understand your argument but funds have been allocated and work has started on some of those roads you mentioned. The fg is not the contractor building the road so there is no suggestion that their attention would be divided either. Its simply a matter of awarding the contracts to solid companies and doing the necessary monitoring. 4 Likes 1 Share |

Flame333: The Lagos state governor said the infrastructure financing was too humongous for the state to handle it without federal support. To me, the state government can invest in large ferries to carry cars across waters instead of building such a bridge. Many developed countries are doing it. 1 Like 1 Share |

FreeStuffsNG:And they'll end up taking more than 8 years to complete it. A tactics they'll use for reelection. An elephant project that serve no use and purpose to the large masses. What happened to making electricity stable? What happened to ensuring we have more refineries? In some states in the USA, they have up to 8 refineries, THAT'S JUST ONE STATE. |

This government is hopeless and visionless. Is a white elephant project our priority at this time. Rendering more people homeless and the economy is tatters. This is the worst government Nigeria ever had. 2 Likes 2 Shares |

This is a misplaced priority and huge nonsense. The fund using for this road that has many alternatives can be used to fix electricity in Nigeria. Leaving Nigeria Electricity in this condition is intentional by all this morons we call presidents. blamingthedevil: 1 Like 1 Share |

There are lot of existing federal roads that are in deteriorable and bad conditions..they would had used the money for this coastal high way road to repair, rehabilitate construct and upgrade the existing federal roads that are in deteriorable and bad conditions...,many nigerians, communters are going through a lot of difficulties in those bad federal roads |

As a man who had experienced injustice, I can authoritatively tell you that most affected person won't get any compensation, instead they would tossed between government departments and beaurecracies. 1 Like |
