Re: Cleric Sues Member For Asking Return Of Car Gift After Failed Prophecy by psucc(m): 3:02am On Apr 27
We still have a "gentleman agreement" in force. Whether written or not, the donation was done on a premise of financial turn around. Now that the premise has turned out to be false, the donation must be restored.

Having agreed also before the Police to make refunds in the presence of his Lawyer, he agreed to be liable. But let's see how the Courts will see that.

Loud!

On a moral ground, the cleric is a scammer using Christianity to operate.

On a legal basis, the foolish man that donated a car is not entitled to get a compensation for the car because the car donation was not backed up by any legal agreement.

Why will the pastor return the Lexus RX330?

Stupidity comes with a huge price. Temitope just paid it.

It is pointless advising people to stay away from pulpit bandits. It is best they learn the hard way.

Experience is always the best teacher.

While there are true prophets and prophesies, 80% of the self acclaimed prophets and prophesies are npthing but scams. sad cool

I can't remember where it is stated in the Bible that any of Jesus disciples is a prophet. How come we have prophets in modern churches today?

Everytime they conduct prophetic services, prophetic ministration just to fool their gullible followers.

More emphasis are laid on sowing seeds, thanksgiving, tithings and offerings.

Jesus Christ was from the tribe of Judah, not from the tribe of Levi as such he never asked anyone for tithe because he was not after your money. How come our pastors are always demanding for payment of tithes and even go to the extent of threatening their congregants of the consequences of not paying tithes?

In a law court it is a case of stolen vehicle since there was no transfer of ownership agreement
Re: Cleric Sues Member For Asking Return Of Car Gift After Failed Prophecy by DJInfluence: 7:34am On Apr 27
The DPO judged the case in our favour and demanded that the car be refunded or he should pay the N4 million he made from selling the car. He agreed that he would be paying one million naira every week in February so that by month's end, he would finish paying the money.
Since when is a DPO a judge?

If someone gifts you a car, will you just receive it without demanding for a written note or evidence that the car was gifted you?

Even if there is no written note, the fact that you gave out your car in the presece of church members or witnesses is enough evidence.

The Law Court does not recognise Prophecies & the likes as False Pretences or acts of Fraud, else all churches would have been shut down.

If you decide to believe that giving out your car will attract favour from God, & it doesn't happen, you can't hold anyone responsible for that.

We keep telling them that all those religions are fake and their GOs or Pastorpreneurs are mere businessmen and conmen who use the desperation of the miracle and Greek Heaven seekers to manipulate, regulate and exploit them from generation to generation (World Without End).

Seriously, this fake men of God has really affected my relationship with God. Sometimes, I wonder if really all this things we doing like going to church, fervently praying, even looking up to the so called men of God really matters.
Different kinds of stories like fake miracles, scamming of church members, looting away the church funds and whatnot. I don't even no what to say again...

In as much as this is disheartening, take a positive view of this.
This is Bible prophecy being fulfilled before your very nose. Believe it or not, many people of past times have been eager to witness prophecy being fulfilled.

2 Peter 2:1-3
“However, . . . there will also be false teachers among you. These will quietly bring in destructive sects, . . . and because of them the way of the truth will be spoken of abusively. Also, they will greedily exploit you with counterfeit words.”

Another prophecy, fast approaching, is in the remaining part of verse 3:
“But their judgment, decided long ago, is not moving slowly, and their destruction is not sleeping.”

This is solid proof that the Bible is the word of God. In as much as what is happening is disheartening, the EFFECT it should have on you is that if solidifying your trust in God's word. Should your trust in God's word be weakened because distasteful prophecies are being fulfilled? What if they're not being fulfilled at all? Would that strengthen your trust in God's word?
Keep in mind that beautiful prophecies are also being fulfilled. In line with Revelation 14:6, 7, Jehovah’s Witnesses are taking God's Kingdom message to “every nation and tongue.” This too is being fulfilled in a VERY REAL and a VERY LITERAL way as Bible information is readily accessible to the public on our official website, jw.org, in well over 1,000 languages—a feat that no other translation body has dared to equal, nor even come close.

A prophecy yet to be fulfilled is this one: just as God trained the Israelites in the wilderness before bringing them into the promised land, so also God is now training his worshippers, by means of the great Bible educational work his son is directing, so that when the time comes for him to usher in his kingdom, the prophecy will be true which says that “they will not cause any harm or any ruin in all . . . the earth.”—Isaiah 11:9.

Forget the word judged as he is using it in a layman's knowledge.

DPO's aren't Judges but the good ones always settle matters before them to avoid escalation. That the said Prophet accepted making weekly refunds is an indictment.

Yea he gave out the car with a promise or prophesy that he will get something in return. What is the difference between that and that of our yahoo brothers who ask their victims to send money with a promise that they will get something in return. They are both a case of scam, stealing under false pretenses, identity theft and a host of other titles

My brother get a bible and read by yourself, no Nigeria pastor has grace more than you.

Jesus /Paul never preach tithe and offerings but salvation. With the amount of churches in Nigeria the economy is going backwards, none has ever prophesied about the country for good fortune.
Of course, you are right...but why a lot of people do see you as an unbeliever when you don't go to church? Even though if you know your God and worshipping Him in your own way.
