life (in my own experience sha) doesn't quite work out in a way in which u can insist on absolutes. i think rigid spending agreements may lead to resentment etal down the line because there will aways be ish that is not planned for.

Even though I might not agree with the 50-50 philosophy, if anyone wants to develop resentment over such issues then, to me, that person is not right for me. Just the concept that someone can develop such feelings, I find unattractive.

There is really nothing wrong with being single (more fun for a guy actually). I have no burning desire to be coupled at all cost. If you are not for me, go your way.
