pocohantas: well i would say the admin first has to find a way to peg the exchange rate if they want everything else to stabilize particularly as we import almost everything and pay dollars for them i suspect we even import paper pulp because prices of exercise books and toilet paper are also all over the place. those pads - it looks like they may be that cheap because they are made in china. unofficial subsidy is back on the menu since petrol should really be retailing at over 1k per litre, based on exchange rate |

pocohantas: Not the administration, but the Nigerians who are too vested in Nigeria failing. The current administration is only providing a reaction to that unpatriotic action, while still allowing room for the problem to continue. |

This falling and Rising of Dollar is not good for business at all. If it is going to be 2k for 1 dollar , let’s leave it like that so businesses can plan and grow in the mid and long term. Thriving SMEs equals a thriving economy and Nothing kills businesses more than uncertainty ! 2 Likes 1 Share |

[quote author=SuperEagles post=129725209]Argh ! How did that happen when foolish obidient ipob already declared Tinubu as finished the reserve he use in defending the Naira. Did Tinubu borrow dollar from the Agulu bastard to defend it now. [ u are shameless dollar was 217 as recent as 2014 then APC came on board and destroyed naira to trade above 1000 naira and u still happy that about the economy of this Country...u guys the agbadorians are the real enemies of Nigeria..your patriotism is not to Nigeria but to tribe and religion |

You think by posting about naira gains and naira losses you're creating fear of missing out that'll make speculators buy naira but no, reverse is the case, if naira gains that just means I can buy more dollars from it. |

SuperEagles: Now let me break this down for you... An item is sold for 100naira then then another manager came and toppled the price to 1000naira which made the customers to grumble, the manager later changed the price to 700naira and your type of customer is now happy. You are indeed penny wise and pound foolish. 1 Like 1 Share |
